And it's MGS4, not MGS3, get it right. Might want to try the edit button. I'll give MGS4 credit where it's due, and LBP is amazing. But LBP only scored so high because it provides an experience that hasn't been seen before. Superior? No. Innovative? Hell yes.
Your personal agenda against Gears of War 2 is just sad. It's a really fun game, it's a shame that you're too blind to see it. Try looking at the game, not the console...

GT5:P counts? It's not even a full game..come on. Siren is a good game, but it's a PSN episodic content game. It's currently sitting at 78 on metacritic.
You left out Ninja Gaiden 2 and Bully: Scholarship Edition for 360. Also we still haven't received reviews for Left4Dead, so don't count that out.
I'm sure there's more to each console, but that's all I could pick up on. Just face it, both consoles did amazing this year.
The bots have really surprised me. The lower levels aren't so smart, but they aren't supposed to be. Insane bots are a force to be reckoned with.

HOME won't do everything XBL does, at least not at launch. Right now it's pretty bare bones. I should know, I'm a beta tester. Don't count your chickens, before they hatch 420.
Most of this is just a lot of nitpicking and minor bugs.
My only complaint is the shotgun. I miss it's power. It does force me to use other weapons more, but like I said, I miss it. Other than that, Gears 2 muliplayer is very good.

And as for the multiplayer, there is NOTHING wrong with it. It doesn't feel so "close combat centered" anymore, mainly because there are bigger maps and more players. Fanboys drag down Gears because it doesn't have more players, yet that messes up the Gears formula.
Theres a low amount of people complaining, so don't get your hopes up about the multiplayer failing.

Reviews vary, and I don't see how MGS4 has to do with anything. Gears and Metal Gear are two different worlds.

Yes because two sites gave it an 8. WIRED is one of them. They gave it a lot of pros, and just one con, yet it got an 8? If you want to trust a site that expects the holy grail out of a sequel, then by all means, go for it.
