I voted for Fallout 3. The game has it's flaws(walking for too long, getting lost, searching for ammo), but overall I found myself loving every aspect of it after a few hours. The game grows on you, and like Oblivion, it has loads of content. It has a great setting, a beautiful wasteland, and lasting appeal. That's why it got my vote.
Funny. :P
Haha nice. I just got Nuts and Bolts and the original Banjo off of LIVE. Nuts and Bolts is not a bad game, but I'd rather have a full blown sequel.
My vote is for Fallout 3. In my opinion, its between Fallout 3, Gears 2, and MGS4.
Wow, very true. Bubbles.
The fact of the matter is..DVD is doing just fine. If Microsoft doesn't update formats next generation, then people have a right to complain. All the best multiplatform games have performed the same, if not better on 360 than the PS3. They're all making a mountain out of a molehill.
Yes, technology changes but you can't expect the 360 to upgrade formats mid-gen. The 360 was released early and for 3 years they have released games that are very impressive for fitting on a DVD.
And yes, Juuken, I am sure. MGS4 had like 4 installs. The first one is the longest, and the ones after aren't as long.
EDIT: Gerry
Clearly it'd be impossible to update. Why would Microsoft do that when in a few years they will possibly release a new Xbox? ...
As of right now, the PS3 is the only console with a new format because it's their own. I have no problem with Blu-ray, and I love it, but if people are going to sit there and downgrade a game just because it requires them to get off their asses, that's sad.
Believe it or not but DVD has held it's own for a long time. This generation will be over in a couple years, so why does it matter?
Yes I'm serious. I'm not "comparing". Back in the PS1 days, it didn't bother me one bit. Heck even the PS2 had multiple discs on some games. Does it hurt you so much to change a freaking disc? If so, wow, I really feel sorry for you.
EDIT: That is an issue but I haven't had any bad experiences with scratched discs. Heck, I even rented Lost Odyssey from Gamefly and even with scratches it played just fine. If you're worried about scratching your discs, then don't get t...
They're all jealous. Look at the disagrees and fanboy comments. Anything they can use to downgrade the 360.
Okay, this article is full of comments from lazy people. Seriously..it takes a couple seconds to switch a disc. I suppose most of you forgot about the PS1 days. And, honestly, who loses discs? They give you a case for a reason.
And no, ThatCanadianguy420, not all games on the PS3 have a single install. MGS4 has multiple installs.
Fable is a RPG. It's just not a JRPG.
That's way too low. An 8 sounds better. It's a decent game but it's not perfect. I don't understand how someone could give it a 6.
Haha, every time sales figures come out, I just love to watch them all clash.
One side spins it, the other beats their chest. It..never ends.

You're going to have some form of copying with ANYTHING. Think for a second. Here's an example: LittleBigPlanet is very innovative in my mind. Media Molecule took creating tools and platforming, and mixed them. I'm pretty sure level editing has been around for a while and I don't even have to defend platforming. It's innovative because it breathed new life into platformers. Just like XBL did for consoles.
See, I even gave a pro-PS3 example. Innovation is ...

If you try to spin this anymore, you're going to make me dizzy.
Sad-face.
"MS did not innovate any of that, so that one little statement nullifies your entire argument. Achievements were on the pc ages before the 360, and downloadable movie services have been around a long time as well."
Really, now? Before Xbox LIVE, when was the last time you saw those features on a console? That's innovation, my friend. Achievements were never so simple, Microsoft made them simple. Video services were offered over the net, but how long have they been of...
Interesting...I guess if you don't already have a Gold XBL membership(why not, 50 a year isn't that bad), this will be perfect for you.
Quote from Co-Founder of Naughty Dog, Evan Wells
“We developed Uncharted as a franchise. The pulp action/adventure genre lends itself perfectly to serialization and continued episodes which is one of the reasons we were attracted to it. Right now we are brainstorming on what Naughty Dog’s next project will be, but even if we don’t do an Uncharted sequel right away, you can pretty much count on us doing one in the near future.”

That same article that you speak of also said that they were working on a game BEFORE Uncharted 2. I wouldn't be surprised if the new Jak was it. If it was, expect it to release before Uncharted 2.
All I have to say is that it better not be a weak spinoff or vehicle game(I'm looking at you Banjo).
Very excited for this game. It's one of my favorite PS2 franchises.
Yeah Gamestop gives you money. I think it's somewhere around 20% less than what you would get for choosing store credit.
Ebay is the way to go..for buying anything used AND for selling. Unless you like yard sales and sniping your local bulletin board.
Example. Most new games lose about 15-20 dollars in value after being released for a few days on eBay. If you decide to sell it on eBay, you'd probably get 40 bucks out of it. If you go to Gamestop, you'll get 20-27...
