Not bagging on PSN, but you guys have to consider the variables.
Xbox LIVE has over 10 million PAYING members, so obviously they're active if they're paying. PSN isn't far behind, but PSN is free. Theres no way(for us) to figure out who is active, and who isn't on PSN.
Once PSN picks up, you'll be seeing more problems with server load. Heck even LBP saw some slowdowns. It happens to everyone at some point. Websites, services, MMORPGs, etc.
Yeah I'm thinking 2011. If it comes out before that, I may hold off on getting it until some decent games or features are released.
So just because I enjoy a game that let's you be creative, in more ways than you'll EVER know, means I need to grow up? My 50 year old father still plays Mario from time to time. Is that wrong? Does he need to grow up? It's entertainment, people tend to enjoy entertainment. People who argue over which game sells more, need to grow up.
Instead of trying to downplay a game that's rated 95 meta, maybe you should go "shoot up" something.

LittleBigPlanet surprised me, and I don't understand why fanboys have to downgrade it because of it's art style. This game has been praised on multiple reviews. Leave it alone already, it's an amazing game.

Yeah, 360 has been killing on game sales. I think it's funny fanboys fight over which consoles sell more. The real money comes from software, and Microsoft knows how to sell it. Overall sales help with install base, but in the end it all comes down to game sales.

You honestly think Sony is good at marketing? If they don't step it up, they're going to be losing a lot of potential sales. Especially on their big releases.
Read the article. It's not talking about the quality of the game, it's talking about the horrible job Sony does with advertising their big games. LBP and R2 could have sold so much more, for example.
MGS4 isn't the best game ever made, at least not to everyone. Someone who is not a fan of the series will probably like it..but do you honestly think they would rate it as the best game ever?
Fact is, theres too much story in the MGS series for newcomers to just pick it up and undeniably love it.

I definitely know what you're talking about. I had to turn the difficulty to hardened because of all of those grenades. In fact, it still didn't really help.
The PS3, according to meta scores, didn't have a AAA(90+) game until this year.
But like you said, Ratchet/Heavenly Sword/Uncharted/Warhawk(how is it not AAA? It's ridiculously fun)/Motorstorm are ALL great games. I really think the reviews should have been much higher, especially for Warhawk and Uncharted.
The one nearest me usually has new release CDs for 10 dollars, other than that..their prices do kind of suck.

Ohh I never doubted you had a 360, that's not the point. You downgrade Gears constantly. You were one of the fanboys posting spoilers. I have nothing against you, you just need to broaden your horizons. If Gears isn't right for you, don't spend so much time trying to bring it down.

Yes I know of the unfair PS3 exclusive reviews, but does that mean that I can't have an opinion of a poor review? It works both ways. If you guys can have a problem with them, I can have a problem with WIRED. I never support biased reviews.
Uhm..DVD IS killing Blu-ray in sales, my friend.
Blu-ray players(and even the price of the disc) need to drop in price more before the mass market starts picking it up.
DVD is pretty much the norm for people right now. DVD sections overtake the Blu-ray sections, DVDs are cheaper, and pretty much everyone owns a DVD player.
Give it time. Blu-ray will pick up in sales soon. I think December will be a start. Dark Knight FTW!
