With the exception of MGS4(amazing), those games you listed were "just" great. The problem with Sony fanboys, is that they hype exclusive games so much that they act as if no game will ever match it. I've heard the 360 was done and peaked about a million times, yet it's still going strong. Sony fanboys are still c0cky from last gen, and they carried it over this gen. The way PS3 fans use just wait is completely different than waiting for an event to announce games coming out THIS year.
Both sides of the field have to wait until the games come out, it's just a matter of when we are getting a set release date.
Just because Sony announces games the year before, doesn't mean gamers don't have to wait until they release.
Instead of ripping on a game you have no interest in, why don't you go "pick and choose" a friendlier game to play. Obviously the players on Halo multiplayer didn't give you much of a chance. ;)

I think everyone should chainsaw the heck out of them. Maybe they'll get the picture that it's too powerful and should bring back the power of the shotty.

Again, I agree with you broseph, but you're not looking at the big picture. The price is what makes the purchase tempting. The Wii brought a new control scheme to people. With that control scheme, brought casual games that anyone can play. Word of mouth is powerful, and everyone is following the trend.

They did bring back Banjo Kazooie that was on N64. It's on the XBL marketplace.
Technically if this next game is a true sequel, it would be Banjo 3. Nuts and Bolts was okay, but not exactly true to its' roots.
I suppose I agree with everything you said, except 3. Arcade is $199, correct? For $30.00 you'll get a refurbished hard drive from Microsoft. In the end, I'm pretty sure $229.00 is less than $250.00. Besides, how can you compare a Wii to 360 and then not count the arcade? Last time I checked Wii didn't have a hard drive, my friend.
It's not just about price, it's more about the Wii's casual games. The price just helps.
I agree with Jack. Just because Trophies are broken into different categories, doesn't mean they reflect more skill. When you compare achievements with someone else, you can see each achievement that the player got, and how many points they were worth. Higher the points, usually mean higher the difficulty to get. Levels are essentially the same as total gamerscore, just in a different variety.

Are you guys completely ignoring common sense? Take two made more money off of the PS3 for one quarter because Bioshock came out a year earlier on 360, so obviously PS3 owners who didn't get to play it on 360, bought it for PS3 this fall. Why would 360 owners still be buying the 360 version, like it was a new release for their console?

I wasn't one of the ones who disagreed, but I know the PS3 version of GTA tends to look darker and has a blue tint. I even changed the settings on my Samsung 42in, with the same results. I prefer playing GTAIV on the PS3 because of the controller, but I also purchased the 360 version for DLC and achievements.

It was and it still is. Halo is a shooter that works very well. Graphics could be better, but gameplay wise-it's addicting.
SDF is pathetic. All credit for them goes out the door by looking at their name. "Defense"? Why would they need to defend the PS3 if it's as Godly as they claim it is?
Anyway, Killzone 2 does look amazing. I expect this to do well if Sony advertises it. My only hope is that gameplay lives up to its graphics.

I think the second to last screenshot looks better on 360, and the last screen shot looks better on PS3(EDIT: eh, now that I look at it, the PS3 version is just bolder in the background, nevermind). That's just me.
I agree with what you're saying...to an extent. But here is the question. Why is getting a headset with the purchase of a console a bad thing? Sure there are little kids and they can constantly annoy you, but in any online community they will always exist. Look at some of the open zone comments on this website.
