I can't wait to see it. I'm glad to see they aren't letting MS beat them out the gate this time.
IMO FF XIII sucked because it wasn't an RPG. The game was on a set path and felt more like an adventure game. The freedom was gone and TBH the concept didn't feel very FF like. It was like Final Sci-fi then Final Fantasy.
Gamestop would only suffer if it proved successful :P

If either block used games they will fail. Disc locked content is enough to get people standing up to these companies already. There are so many holes with this. In fact the idea of "always online" is flawed itself.
The fact that Edge reported it means there is a prototype that exists doing this right now. Or they wouldn't have been told that information. Even if Microsoft decide to back down on used games having a system always connected to the internet is aski...
Its always sad to see companies lose their ties. I wonder what will happen to their new game now :(
I think Gears of War Exile was that rumored on rails Kinect Gears so it would be understandable why they cancelled it.

Microsoft and Sony are the ones in direct competition. Not Nintendo. If you will buy Wii U you will buy it eventually. if you won't you won't.

Chances are it is going to get there eventually anyway but Nintendo likely talked them into a day and date release. there is absolutely no other reason to delay the game. If it was for one of the others they would still have released Spring.
After all the rumors it should be obvious. It will get on Wii U eventually.

Nothing like Gamecube. Gamecube came last to market and got compared to PS2's onslaught of quality titles.
Apart from the OS (which they are working on) Wii U seems like a very appealing system for core gamers.
It will come down to the library and Wii U has a lot of appealing titles so far. I bet you it keeps it up even after the others come out.

I'm guessing its the same as 3DS but everything the touch screen had/did will be done on the Gamepad. I'm curious to know if they change it.
