That would be interesting to see. Would that really do away with the anti-consumer BS they have been pulling or will they continue trying it anyway?
Bets are on the latter.
Darn it Marvelous this needs a physical release. The game is reeking of physical activity after all.
This is what I'll say in the matter. You are right there are A LOT of companies trying to push it but despite them paying off journalists and internet users to make us look like the villains they want to pay attention to what is going on around them.
Which market currently out there right now is the most corrupt because of the companies involved? Video games. Those capitalistic dictators sit in their office chairs ruling above us, looking down on us and outright insul...
"Regardless how you feel about them, they aren't going anywhere"
I haven't read the rest of your comment (as of yet) because your first sentence intrigues me. You see some companies have proclaimed this kind of thing before. Capcom with their Super or Ultimate releases making people buy the game again. Microsoft making us pay a fee to unblock used games. Sony claiming rumble was last generation tech.
They aren't going anywhere? S...
Did you seriously just compare the worst company in America to Nintendo?
In all my years of viewing clickbait....... this has to be the clickiest clickbait I've ever seen. To think this is just going to be people on Reddit and Twitter throwing little tantrums is nuts. There will obviously be some kind of sales hit for this.
The thing that gets on my nerves is that Sony threw away all that promising technology. I can understand Capcom, Ubisoft or Activision screwing it up because they treat all platforms they don't have interest in as a system to dump their cash grabs but Sony is the manufacturer and should be setting the example. Instead they put out some of the shoddiest HD ports I've ever seen them do.
Because of it we'll never really know what Vita was truly capable of. Obvio...
@sam
There is more to this than just Mario though. Nintendo are very consumer friendly and we have benefits by them remaining in hardware. Microsoft have virtually been nothing but bad news since they got here.
Every current anti-consumer practice is because of them. They charged for online so Sony and Nintendo did it. They are pushing games as a service so others are trying it. They started the DLC concept and we know whats happened with that.
UCForce Its up to Microsoft. A lot of people don't realise the publisher does actually need to green-light the games for them to happen. People say "Rare should do this 343 should do that" but Microsoft is still calling the shots.
MT's aren't on Odyssey. Whats wrong moldybread? Don't like that Odyssey hasn't changed from the past?
Well Odyssey isn't getting MTs whether YOU like it or not.

The problem is while it has elements of truth on their consoles (though there ARE games that have been successful on Gamecube and Wii) it has never been the case with their handhelds. It isn't a case of maybe because Switch has once again carried over Nintendo's handheld dominance.
Third party support has never been an issue on their handhelds. That is why many asked them to go handheld only years ago. Backing from companies li...
They would do better on Switch than on Xbox. Kingdom Hearts DDD sold more than the Xbox One Final Fnatasy XV according to retail figures.
If not KH3 they should do something with it for Switch. They are seriously missing out if they don't.

Tell me, if this was being offered to Vita instead would you back Sqaure Enix on their stance? I get the impression you just want everything to be focused around Sony.
In regards to your comment about Kingdom Hearts taking away development from PS4 could you please DO YOUR RESEARCH!? Porting is either outsourced to other companies or is done by smaller teams within the company. Stop making up excuses. You sound like the people bashing 3DS dev...
If this is Phil's plan to try and get Japanese publishers on board he is doing it wrong. What they want to see is the actual numbers of their own target audience using and buying games for the system. Not sold out signs at the front of the shops.
Sales figures do not mean install base (something a lot of people on the internet don't seem to realise). They can sell 1 million Xbox systems and still have only 100 000 people buying for it.
Microsof...
We don't know enough about VC to make a call on it right now. A lot expected the rumours surrounding Switch to come true overnight and that isn't what happened. Gamecube games, a Smash Bros port, Pokemon Stars etc. Then a backlash happened at Laura but it turned out most of what she said eventually panned out. Surprise and shock its just the fact that games take a while to finish. Given its taken this long to reveal Virtual Console I'd say its something to do with the paid online....
Although I would love to be optimistic about their franchises like Dino Crisis I think that a lot of companies have changed their stances too much since the PS2 era. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot end up like THQ's games (in the bin).
They could buy out their USA branch (who own Street Fighter) but that would be pointless because they already own Killer Instinct. MS would buy Dead Rising and bail.
More likely that others will start swiping their franchises.
Nintendo = Mega Man
Microsoft = Dead Rising
Monster Hunter would depend on bid wars
Not sure what Sony would be interested in. Street Fighter or Resident Evil perhaps.
They can't. There is a law stopping overseas companies taking over Japanese companies.
It seems Japanese developers are going to use Switch as a starting point for multiplatform development. Can't blame them since PS4 alone can't sustain them.
