It's probably due to the blood splatter that appears when you get shot. This was not in mw1 and thus it makes mw2 more gory?
I don't think they should cut price. Both xbox and ps3 are kind of at a golden price point in my opinion. They both are the same price which is a major plus and yet aren't too high. Besides if ms and sony both intend a 10 year life cycle like they are claiming then they need to control the price or else it will hurt the longevity of the generation if they drop to fast.
Both bungie with it's halo franchise, and IW with COD both did push gaming to another level. I'm happy to see ND give thanks, it really shows that it is all about the games and not the fanboyism. Naughty dog definately have joined a great team of developers that are pushing the industry for the good of all gamers.
I'm disapointed yet pleased. On one hand I was looking forward to it, yet on the other it gives me wallet a little bit of a break. Guess i'll just have to wait for confirmation.
games wouldn't exist without single player or story. What do you think they did before the days of enternet? Multliplayer really is just an add on that has become famous. So no I don't see single player going away.

Yes digital distribution has it's place, as seen by netfix and others. BUT There will always be a need and want for physical media, to go and buy that item that rewards for hard work. It's like cash, yes debit and credit cards are nice but there is nothing like cash. So I hope phyisical items do not go away, I love my rewards after a hard work.
Ok so we all know that 2012-2013 is the projected date of the new generation, that's old news.
But to say that they had to push the consoles back by two years do to the bad economy means they where expecting the next generation in 2010?

and that's part of our issue, we need to stop being so self involved. It's part of why the world tends to hate us, we need to be more aware of the rest of the world and not our own little bubble.
In reguards to the article, it sounds to me they are complaining just because it's America. What if it was some other country or symbol, would you not complain? I myself am an American and Christian and I find it offensive when a group seems to suggest by there words that they only care about the fact that the white house was blown up and wouldn't necessarily cause a fuss if it were say pakistan. It's just hypocritical of you and shows your ignorance.
gamer for starters I find your argument a little harsh. People keep saying that we just need to move on and, 9/11 was 8 years ago. Yes it is good to move on and not let things destroy you forever, but we must never forget. Being a historian I for for a fact that if you don't learn from history you WILL repeat it.
that's the problem with this gen. People have stopped playing games for what they are intended, fun. People now play based on graphics and and if it outperforms something only 6 month older than it.
Play because it's fun, not because you've become spoiled.
I think it's CRAZY that people base a game off of graphics. Yes graphics and progress overtime is needed and expected. But to be so greedy to hate a game just because it's the same old same old or doesn't push to a KZ2 standard is beyond me.

I would agree, gaming is an opinion but the overall facts of what blu-ray as a media can deliver that dvd simply can't is undeniable.
