I'm kind of on the fence.
At first I was extremely excited, the very first trailer for this game was just AMAZING!!
Get with all this god of war spin off talk and with the most recent gameplay trailer it just really upset me.
The first Trailer was amazing so i'm very conflicted.
Edit: Nvm, I looked at some new gameplay and it looks amazing. Not a 1st day buy but definately going to keep my eye on it.
After reading this I have a few questions.
If not a trilogy then I wonder how many games will be in the series?
and if uncharted 3 is more than 50 gigs then 2 Blu-ray disks?
I find things like this awful, it's why I stay away from them. With the enternet anymore, if I followed every bit of news to come out about a game then there would be no point in buying/playing it.
I want to be suprised when ac2 mw2, halo, ect come out!!!
I don't mind the change but I do prefer the spiderman font. In my mind it's more "extreme" the new ps3 font seems a little kiddih to me.

from what i've heard there are like over a hundred main missions and a hundred side missions. Something like 15 missions per set instead of 6, and you get rewarded for side missions now instead of "just doing it".

I agree with you completely. Owning both consoles lets me enjoy any game without being limited. My xbox is great for online and playing with friends compared to the ps3 but the ps3 has amazing exclusives.
So my ps3 is currently exclusive only. My 360 is still my main console. I'm buying what the must haves are for the ps3...thus far it's been uncharted LBP and soon to be MGS4. Id do MGS4 at best buy but I'm unsure what my second exclusive must have should be? I know of KZ2 but it really doesn't interest me. Any other thoughts?

I like the old style and spiderman lettering, just my opinion though.
I don't have a problem with duel weapons, as long as they keep it realistic, realism warfare is all what COD is about. The knives don't bother me either, tons of military personal are trained with knives. I think itll be interesting, the last time I messed with throwing knives in a game was goldeye on the n64. The fact that they are unlimited is a bit concerning though.

they said the map disk will be executable? what does this mean? I guess what I'm getting at is....I have all the maps except the legendary map pack. I don't want to get into a position where I have to pop in a disk every time I want to play. Would it just be better to go ahead and do the DLC maps to update everything and have them on my hard drive?
