I think after reach they need to let halo die. I love halo, it's why I own an xbox and without halo I wouldn't know an xbox exists.
With that said I want this to stop after reach. I don't want such a great story to be ruined because you beat it like a dead horse. I love the feeling halo 3 gave me when I finished it and I don't see a need in a 4th halo.

I agree with you completely. I bought my ps3 back in may for its blu-ray capability since blu-ray won the hd war. Currently working with Uncharted 1 and 2 blu-ray movies (yay watchmen!) I'm definately looking forward to GoW3, MAG, and Uncharted 2 then going back and getting MGS4 and LBP! So I understand I got the system now I just need the software kick in the ass to go with it!!!

As far as the next big war franchise like all the war games did with ww2, I do like what activision is doing with the war on terror. I think the war on terror could really be used and really see a good batch of games come from this global war on terror, just like we saw with the ww2 games.

O.k. don't get me wrong, even I'm sick of ww2 shooters. There are plunty of other more recent wars we can do, korea, veitnam, cold war, gulf war 1, black hawk down, iraqi freedom....

I really liked this article. I can relate very well. I bought the 360 compared to the ps3 because in the beginning there was a difference in quality. Now with the ps3 having this amazing future and with blu-ray winning the hd war, I bought one a few months back.

Pushing it to it's limits is fine. But have only one game out of hundreds that maxes a system isn't justified. To me I want to see 30-40-50 percent of games to push a system so we get a good quality selection
I agree completely! This console gen was so expensive compared to previous years. Not to mention I feel I've barely made a dent in this gen. and feel the graphics are at such a high, how can you improve. I'm pretty satisfied and don't want to see more expensive things coming to market for along time. Until 80% of the games push these consoles like kz2 and we see more MAXING OUT of the systems then we can talk next next gen.

yeah can someone explain this to me? I'm just your average xbox own, I don't even know what they mean by bootloading. Yet they say my 360 is a risk? Is my 360 at risk from bricking from this update?
I personally hope that the thought of the next gen consoles not coming till 2011-2012 or later is accurate. I for one don't feel like shelling out every 5 years for consoles that just get more and more expensive. I personally feel I haven't even made a dent in what is available to me this gen. Besides the graphics have reached such a point that I don't even see a need for a new "traditional" console. We need more games that push like KZ2 ect. There haven't been enough games to reall...
you bring up good points. I've said this before, i'll say it again. I don't have a problem with prices going up, it's part of society. Price is determined by demand, inflation. I do however, not want games to go up just go to up, there needs to be a reason for it. We got a $10 price hike for our HD, the next offical game wide hike needs to have a valid reason behind it as well, other than "we just can cause they'll pay for it."
Sir you bring up a very valid point. Yes I don't think online petitions do any good, I also don't forsee it changing anything. I for one am actually getting MW2. But I do agree that this greed and the way they've been acting, if let loose into the whole of the gaming community will just spell disaster. Like governments, companies should listen to there employees.
All I can really say is he has an amazing point! If it wasn't for split screen and 007 I wouldn't be the gamer I am today. Me and the Fraternity brothers have tons of fun killing each other in split screen on halo! What a bonding experience, i'd hate to lose that.

Like anything else prices are going to rise over time as technology gets better. It's why we got a $10 dollar price hike for the HD generation of gaming. Increasing the prices isn't the issue, it's that they do it in a fair and justified manner. Just like with adding $10 dollars for HD there needs to be a good reason for uping the price, not just uping it just because you can.
Don't get me wrong, digital distribution has it's benefits. I still like my hard copies. It's like cold hard cash, it's just nice to have a physical medium.

I got my 60gb back in may of 09 for around $400 (referbished). I have enjoyed it ever since and am still working on it. I can't wait to really show it some love with games like lbpgoty, gow3, mag, ect....So YES I'M EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH MY 60GIG!!! (heres to not yloding :))
