I agree it is the future but they did kind of jump the gun, thus our present games seem to be suffering.
I agree completely, don't get me wrong DD has it's place but I like my hard copies and getting something physical for my hard earned cash.
The one thing that is disturbing though is how MS is trying to limit how many disks they can use, thus limiting the over all game quality. It's like they are willingly denying progress?
Trying to compete with the big boys and thier 10 year life cycle? It would be kind of weird for nintendo to release a console 3-4 years ahead of microsoft and sony.
wow, LED tvs have been out for awhile but this is the first time I've really seen a complete set and complete listings to really becoming the norm in the market, it looks like the LED is coming, YAY!
This is nice to hear. I haven't touched the game in months because of the glitch fest. I'll also be consumed with god of war 3. But still this is nice to hear, hope it brings new blood to the game :).
I wouldn't say it's too late, they are just being selfish really. I love my xbox but yes they do need bluray. I also love my ps3 lol. And what's all this rubbish about going out and buying a 150 bluray player? this isn't for movie watching, it's needed to up the quality on games, not movies!
I can't wait. The last time I remember crying (not literally) was halo 3 when the opening started, the graphics at the time were just mind blowing. Another cry moment for me was 300 the movie, it was amazing. Yes I skipped the killzone 2 thing, it just wasn't my cup of tea.
I'm so ready for God of War 3 to make me cry and be wowed, jaw dropped.

because of the previous install base of god of war 1 and 2 from the ps2 days. Just like it was with halo 3 because it had an install base from halo 1 and 2 from the xbox days.
Call me old fashion but I like my standard controller. To me video games are barely video games without an old fashion control going back to like arcade games :). So again I like my standard controllers.

I really am interested to see if this happens or not. I'm buying the game reguardless but if this happens it would just be iceing on the cake.

I really am interested to see if it beat uncharted 2 in terms of reviews. I just picked UC2 up the other day and on the front cover it says 25 perfect scores. It'd realy be a feat if GOW3 eclipsed that!
Or to see how high it scores on metacritic. If it beat GTA IV which is highest for xbox and ps3? again it'd be something to see :)
He does bring up very good points. While I disagree how MS deals with thier harddrive issues one of my biggest complaints was that there was no easy sure fire way to tranfer data if I needed to upgrade (which I'll need to do here soon, still working on my 20gig lol). So to finally have a relatively cheap $15 dollar item that I can easily access now is sure a nice thing.
I couldn't agree with you more. Yeah digital distribution shall have it's place, it's nice to be able to conserve resources and not clutter. But I agree with you, it's nice to be able to hold something physical, something that truely has value that you worked hard for to get. It's the same way with cash/gold vs. credit cards. I will always want some hard form of currency.

On the other hand I'm really excited for the possibility of what Medal of Honor could become :).
While I have no doubt UC 2 is amazing, hence why I just picked it up. After playing for about 5 minutes I still feel like uncharted is too colorful. GoW 3 on the other hand judging by the trailers seems to have a more realism thing going? idk I just personally feel like GoW3 will be and should be a bigger hit than uncharted 2. Even with Uncharted 2 in a very close second I still think GoW3 deserves more praise. Again just my opinion.

I was not big on motion controls before this, now i'm even more uninpressed. I think that if anything, they should come out with a gun style controller kind like on the wii. Other than that I'm just not interested.
