about TIME!!! I've been saying for a few years now that if we want to go to that next step i.e. electric cars or downloadable/streaming content, you first have to have the infustructure to do so, overhauling our worn out cable lines and gas pump for the 21-22 century. Our infuststructure definately needs an overhauling if we want to do what we say we want to do lol.
I did just that after seeing one of the first trailers released back in may of 09 I think for like E3 or something. I knew I had to get one. So since may of 09 I've been ready and waiting, I can't wait.

I liked the guitar solos and the over all metal that goes really well with GOW but the scremo i'm not much of a fan of. Give me something that I can understand the lyrics to.

Don't get me wrong, I think the glitch fest that is mw2 has it's issues, but activision, infinity ward made you a load of money now you just dump them. Way to show your crappy side activision, way to go.
Hell yeah, I want more modern war games that are taken from real life. Just like with Fallujah and MoH. I mean ww2 had it's share of video games that were based on actual events, d-day and such. I want the same thing for our current war against terror conflicts.
in terms of bugs no we don't need a new one. In terms of story it would be nice if they could finish up the story.
No worries, I'm playing forza 3 and really enjoying it so i'll gladely leave my ps3 alone until then. However, if you don't have it solved before GOW3 I'm going to be an unhappy customer lol.
I would love to see both sony and ms honor a 10 year life cycle. Who wants to be shelling out $500 or next gen, more, for consoles every 3 years. I just find it hard to believe the 360 lasting until 2015 unless you can add blu-ray drives, which I'm completetly not sure how that's possible without gutting the current machine.
On a side note I'm currently LOVING forza 3, it looks so nice and realistic, you kind of get lost and lose since of reality. I can't wait for GT5 as well....
well I think MoH has two things going for it.
One is that CoD is currently in a glitch mess from what I've heard.
Secondly MoH is based off real events and in that respect is based on the classic ww2 shooters, based off real battles/events.
The second is why I'm so excited, a war game that is based in reality that isn't ww2 but instead modern war I find very appealing.
I really never had any issues when I went through my run of heavy rain. Maybe as I play it over time, 2nd, 3rd, play through something will come up. But after playing a first run I had no issues.
and yes, the game is AMAZING! I'm really hoping we get more of these.

AndyA I couldn't agree with you more. Going to school for military history I would love something a little more realistic and "real world" than say mw2 or bc2.
I agree I feel like things are just now starting to get good, and don't see a viable reason for another "leap". Console generations seem to come about due to graphics upgrades or a leap in tech like with the switch from standard def to high def. and I just don't see anything that warrants a new generation. Besides who wants to shell out $500 or maybe more for the next next gen?
Great read man. For me story is what draws me into a game, I love story and having a true experience, not like these mindless shooters. I never played bioshock but ME1 and ME2 were amazing. In terms of story I can't wait for the next phase of storytelling, heavy rain. So yeah story is a great thing and really tugs at my heart strings so again a great read.
I got my 60 gig back in may of 09 because I wanted to be able to play god of war 1 and 2 before 3 released (god of war 3 was why I bought a ps3) Then sadly they released the god of war collection on bluray which made my BC useless lol. The only other game I'd be interested in going back and playing would be Shadow of the Colossus, although with great games like GOW3 and Heavy Rain, I don't see that happening.

I want to see the gamespot review, I feel I trust them the most when it comes to reviewing games.
I love my FPS like halo or MW but i'm also a huge person on experiences. Things like ME and having to think of your consquences ect i think are great.
I really think heavy rain could be good and really help enhance an experience....like a drama or opera. so it's definately on my radar.
Redlogic I agree with you completetly. I feel that the current gen consoles are doing very well. I too just haven't seen that "wow" factor that is going to make me say, yes we need a new console. Although 3D is gaining ground I just don't see it being used by the masses. So again I just don't think or see any reason that warrents new consoles.
Not to mention this gen. has been very expensive, I don't want to be shelling out $500 or more every couple years just to keep...
I've been catching up on forza 3 lately and it was my first racing sim, I must say with this current gen and how realistic it is, it does kind of suck you in if you love cars lol.
I can't wait for GT5 to come out and just up it another notch, YAY for car lovers :).
