MEDAL OF HONOR! That's all that is on my mind until release lol.
I may buy it used but definately not new, he's no longer getting my money.
I'm hoping for realism, after all the campaign is based on reality and not some tom clansy novel (heres look at you modern warfare..).
The modern warfare thing I think is very interesting given the world is in the "war on terror" mind set atm. But the one thing that I didn't like is how cod4/mw2 used tom clancey/hollywood style things. MOH is supposed to be based on reality like the ww2 games of old. So I'm very excited.
yeah if they did it like halo reach just needing odst or getting one with a pre-order, or something similiar would be awsome.
It offers something new in that it is based in reality and is modern warfare.....like the ww2 games before it that depicted the battle of the bulge or d-day, this is the first modern warfare game to depict real war/realism.....no tom clancey/hollywood stuff.
from a historical/history buff stand point this is why I'm so excited for this.
I couldn't agree more. I'm not one to get into fights with the companies but what activision did with infinity ward was just awful thus I've officially joined the activision boycott....
With that said something about going to a new war like vietnam should be pretty cool and I'm excited to see how it turns out. I will definatly be looking into it. Maybe get it used or something.....
it's not the most intense or mind blowing game but in terms of fun factor and good old party games halo can't be beat. It's just great to get together with a group of friends and have fun with things like ctf and oddball.
Medal of Honor is aiming for sheer gulf-war based authenticity meaning that, unlike call of duty, Medal of Honor isn't a Hollywood blockbuster-alike that simply propels the player from one explosion or double-cross to the next.....
This is why I'm so excited for this game, something real world, not made up conflicts like MW was.
all I want is for them to finish my story. Yes I want quality over quantity but I also do not want to be left with a cliff hanger on mw2 because they just decided not to make it. Just make a mw3, wrap up your story and call it quits guys.
I wish we could get a release date for this game. Just like with the ww2 games having d-day and the like, I would like to see more modern warfare games based on real events....i.e. the new Medal of Honor and Six days in Fallujah. We are currently in a military conflict so we definately have the stories to do so, even going back and doing like bosnia or black hawk down stuff would be nice.
Give you could go to different stores, go to the same store on different days or just flat out pay in cash.....I don't see how this "life time limit" would stand.
after the glitch fest of mw2 and with all the people leaving at activision.....
EA coming out with Bad Company 2 and Medal of Honor on the way. As it stands right now EA is definately on top compared to activision.
I can't wait for Medal of Honor....we've been in the war on terror for nine years now, I'm excited to see some modern war games based on reality. i.e. the medal of honor afghan missions. I'm a history major so just like with our ww2 and d-day games fin...
I could care less about multiplayer or graphics at this point, they are both over rated anymore. But in terms of story I am concerned about mw3.....I want mw3 for the sole purpose of keeping and hopfully finishing the story. I want it to end with mw3 but at the least make 3 and not leave us with mw2 and a cliff hanger and never finish the story...
the one thing that pops into my head is the fact that they reference D-Day which was a ww2 even and yet use a modern weapon on the cover. In reference to Semper Fi...

:)
i'm still rocking my 4 year old razor.....I never got into smartphones/texting.....but I've been looking out for this new iphone and plan to finally jump on board. Here's to hoping the official reveal goes well:).
I'm uber excited for this game for the realistic missions ect. COD was good when jumping into modern warfare but at the end of the day it was made up, fake missions. WW2 games had thier real missions like d-day and such. We are currently fighting in a current war situation in afganistan, why not do what medal of honor is and take real life missions and use them in the game.
I never was a big fan of phones/texting.....I'm 22 and still have my razor, it's 4 years old lol. This next iphone will be my next cell phone, so I'm excited to jump into the new phones.
For the good of the industry I really hope Respawn comes out on top and makes some amazing games.
I always buy for the campaign, the multiplayer has always been secondary for me. A good story trumps multiplayer in my opinion. The fact that this game is based on reality unlike a tom clancey novel (i.e. mw2...) is defintely frosting on the cake.
