So say they do announce e3 2012, will they release holiday 2012 or give more time to develope and release second half of 2013? I'm not up to date on my console release stuff lol.
I sure hope you're right. As much as I like this series, I want it to end instead of it being ruined with never ending releases.
This does look exciting. Just give me AC3, finish the story, and let me die in peace. This Minerva talking of 2012 is killing me.
@johnny
I do agree with you though, I was hoping for AC3 and a conclusion, not AC:R. I'm ready for a conclusion and no more spin-offs.
AC 3 would have to come before Jan 1 2013. The current storyline has to end in 2012 to keep continuity of the story since the climax is to take place in 2012. So AC 3 should come in 2012, with AC:R in 2011. Theoretically before next gen systems.
Yay! Although milking Ezio is a bummer, that little read got me excited.
Digital distribution is the future. The two biggest issues however are infrastructure such as fiber optics ect. And consumer rights. Just like with every new advancement, laws and understandings come into play. The consumer need to be able to own that DL content and things like being reimbursed for HD being destroyed via lightning ect.
^^this
The story is the reason I play, I love singleplayer.
I do love AC so I'm always excited about more. But on the other hand, releasing to many games will ruin the story. Sometimes in order to keep the continuity of the story in tact, you need to know when to quit.
Medal of honor gets my vote. But yeah I love seeing historical events recreated in video games. It gives people an opportunity to understand history in a fun immersive way. So yes, I'd love to see this.
The games looks fun and like something I'd enjoy. still I'm not convinced, idk (shrug).
Might pick up LA noire. Just can't decide if it's worth the day one purchase. I may wait a few and see what critics/users say.
Even if it's spin offs like odst and reach that's fine. I just want a conclusion to the current story.
I want a conclusion. Please don't milk this great franchise. Just conclude it and make me happy.
No, I've enjoyed cod for the campaign. Especially mw, I'm curious as to what happens with them stuck in a safe house ATM. The mp is what I have an issue with. No matter the game, I've always been more of a story driven gamer than a mp gamer.
As much as ive grown to despise cod, that looked like balls of fun :). Will I jump on board no, but did it look fun, yes.
Not so much hype but expectation. Media be it movies or games has a habit of hyping something that when it comes out consumers are disappointed.
It's possible. As much as valve is loved, no amount of greatness can over come hype if that hype is too large. Just like with duke forever, it could happy to hl3. Will it, not necessarily, but is it possible? Sure.
It is the future, it's just a matter of when. You have to change infrastructure and other things that may take decades, so it might not be as soon as we thought. But yes it is the future, it's just a matter of when.
Look at cell phones and wifi. I don't think people would have thought the house phone would become extinct due to cell phones or that wifi would be so wide spread and make cables obsolete or that is have a computer in my pocket (smartphones).
I'm using an old 60gb I bought back in 2009. It's been running well but given the fact that you never know what may happen, and that the slim would only be 100, I'll keep an eye on this.
