It's a day one for me too. With so much coming out I decided to limit my *must haves* to three. Battlefield 3, halo CE (grew up with the original so it'll be a real treat) and AC:R (story has me hooked).
I still have a backlog Of like 9 games I want to purchase later, ranging from gears 3 and batman to shadow of collosus hd and uncharted 3.
How can you forget what is without a doubt the most important game in xbox history, Halo CE!

I agree, I like that they for a more realistic, historical, honor point. Not the Michael bay effect, so while it had it's issues call me curious. I wonder how they'll 'honor' the troops next.

Over half way through this gen lifecycle, I have a hard time feeling bad or seeing this as an argument. If you don't have space this late in the cycle then it's kind of your fault honestly.
How about a black hawk down, Bosnia, a bin laden level given we recently killed him. Something not too old like Vietnam but something more modern that games haven't really covered?

The ps3 has the texture pack as well. It just has the benefit of being on the blu-ray disk instead of a separate disk. It will download from the disk onto the hdd. So both the ps3 and 360 have the texture pack. People just get crazy since oh my the 360 is on a separate disk. They both have the pack, one is just single disk while the other is multi disk.
No it is not including the texture pack. I think I saw that with the texture pack it's more like 8gb? I also know for certain that the texture pack for 360 is 1.5gb so if you go off that, a mandatory install of 2+1.5 equals 3-4ish gb total install?

I wanted to do the $30 deal on batman:ac. They were out of copies however :(. I guess this will have to make up for it, I have many options, bestbuy, target, etc. but this is the best price I've seen so far.
As long as I get my AC3 on current consoles, I'll be happy. It's the last franchise I need to finish.
Did anyone else find that encouraging in terms of longevity and the willingness to at least try and push the limits and give us the best not just for 360 but for ps3 as well. There were parts in that that I thought were neat in terms of streaming the content, not taxing the machines, and more detailed textures that all come from outside and aren't limited by the machines themselves. Kind of like upgrading a pc parts instead of the whole machine, but with a download.
Picked up forza 3 a long time ago when it went to $20 and really enjoyed it. Forza 4, like Lauren is slowly pulling me in. I just can't decide if it's worth the upgrade since I already have 3. May just wait till it goes to 30 or 20 again.
