Not including spinoffs like brotherhood and the like, they've said it was ment to be a trilogy. So if you just include the numbered games 1,2,3 they've confirmed it as a trilogy.
But will it be the ending of the current story arch? I want closure dangit!

Exactly, all we know now is that they're in a safe house. I'm more of a story gamer, multiplayer has always been an add on for me.
Same here, battlefield 3 looks great. The only thing keeping me remotely interested in cod is the curiosity to finish the current mw story arch.
While I don't doubt ubisoft will continue the series and I think they should, and I don't know what to think of the new pics.....this is all I want......

Just like halo before it, the social aspect is undeniable even if the actual gameplay is flawed. Gaming is nice when you have friends to play with.
It really is the industry killing itself. While I agree that used sales and piracy are hurting the industry, it's the consumers right to search for the best price. And the standard that you'll pay the same price for viva piñata that you'd pay for cod is crazy. Maybe price ranges, idk. The industry does need a change, idk what that change is but we can all see that something needs to change to make both consumer and industry happy.
Yeah I never got a chance to play them either. But I am excited about te HD remakes!

I like this idea, continue the franchise if you like, but finish the current story arch. I want to see this with assassins creed 3.

A regular university averages 20-30k a year? You must sorely be mistaken. I'm at Florida state right now and paying I think roughly 10-15k per year depending on credit load, in state/out of state.
This is something that has always bugged me about society.
That one can determine what is "manly" or "accepted".
With MTV and the like it seems like you have to move out at 18, you have to party, drink.....independence baby!
And yet there are some who would view "manliness" as not drinking, not having sex before marriage, living a moral life.

nice read. and yeah I agree with the idea of not feeling accomplished. Thus I haven't bought a COD new since mw2 and will continue not to. If anything I just continue for the story. and for that I hope mw3 (which I'll buy used) is the ending of the current story arch so I can quit without the curiosity of what's happening.
That's what I'm saying. It's a great series so I don't mind them continuing the franchise, but like with halo 1-3, I want closure to the current story. It's been great so far and I don't want them to ruin it by pushing to far.
