Yeah but how can you change it while he's been floating in space?
This concerns be too. I grew up on CE during highschool. Them "changing" masterchief does make me feel like this new trilogy will not sit well with me.
While I'll wait and see, it is hard for me to imagine halo without bungie. Bungie did create and cultivate it after all. And the fact that it's yet another trilogy...I mean how far can you push a story. We'll see though.
It's about time!
I will admit that the hs kid in me is starting to warm up to the CE remake. However I don't like the idea of a halo 4 let alone another three games. I was raised on halo from day one and like the author the prequel in reach that gave background and the conclusion from halo 3 (even though it was a cliff hanger) were satisfying and brought closure. Idk I just feel very uneasy about continuing the current story, let alone for three more games.
Can't find the official bungie app on the app store.

Thanks for the clarification bud. While it is somewhat a bummer that they are messing with the mp (since it was so unique for its day), at least the most important part (sp, in my opinion) is staying true to the original.
Then it wouldn't be combat evolved! Using the unbalanced excuse doesn't cut it in my opinion. You change too much and it's not combat evolved anniversary but something totally different.
Wait, so they are adding the reach abilities into CE maps to keep it balanced? Are we also getting reach weapons instead of halo 1 weapons? Why!!!!!!!!! (cries in a corner)
FULL BC please. Idk but this gen seems like it was awful expensive. Like the author says I don't want to feel like all of this investment was for not.
I love my 360 it is my console of choice but sitting next to my ps3 it's looking a little dry on exclusives.
Surprise us with more exclusives.
@sixzerofour
I'm not that worried lol, I can handle myself. And yeah I was going to wait and see how it turned out anyway so yeah.
And Yeah I agree on the graphics/online and leaving the rest alone. If they start adding spike grenades and the like I'll be disappointed.
@gamingdroid
The fear is ruining my childhood memory. It's like sand lot 2, I never watched it but I saw/heard enough of it that it ruined my childhood memories of the original.
A CE remake that is tweaked beyond a graphics upgrade and online supports, just being out in the marketplace is a threat to my childhood. Lol. (and I'm only 23)
Being an original halo fan that grew up with CE in highschool, I'm very concerned.
And what was said about master chief and finding it hard for anyone outside of bungie working on him being hard to swallow.
This whole article just sums up my complete worry, concern, and thoughts on the franchise
I love my childhood memories of halo.
Yeah but most franchise stories become garbage because they were milked. I don't want to see this with AC. Finish on a high note and let it be, don't keep going till you destroy it.
That's why I want to see some sort of closure. I've loved this franchise, it's been my favorite this gen. Is rather it end then be run into the ground.
As much as I love this franchise, I want AC 3 and a conclusion/Ending to this current 2012 something big is happening in 72 hours story. I'm tired of feeling like the show Lost and having constant cliffhangers and no closure. Sure it can continue with spin offs and other stories like most franchises, but I want AC 3 and an ending to this current story arch.
I bought my 60gb back in 2009 and didn't desire to open it up until about two months back. I was nervous at first but after doing it twice it really is simple. I didn't have much dust when I initially opened it but I did clean what I could. I guess what I'm trying to say is that don't be nervous about doing maintenance, it worked wonders for me.
I agree. I have very fond memories of swg pre nge. I quit when I went away to college in 2007 but for those first few years it was great. Some of my greatest gaming memories are from SWG.
