There's nothing like Reply Value!! Just gotto get that right...
Yeah, Dreamcast looked so cool!
Venomous I think it's a bit unfair to say "guys like you" when I'm playing games from the 1980s and 1990s mostly. Or at best, their remakes. I just wanted this particular game to have better looking environments. Environments that would actually look inspiring.
I'm all for gameplay, despite my earlier comment. But I just expected something that would look overall much better. I also think that pushing graphics was part of the franchise to begin with.
Yeah, but still like a PS2 title. Honestly, Star Fox 64 was state-of-the-art stuff back on the N64, and this should be too. I don't know what they are doing with the franchise... This has disappointment written all over it.
I really enjoyed the original vector graphics Snes title and N64 version as well. Finished both of them countless of times and got really good at them.
But this... no go.
Been playing this in Japanese for a few weeks now and I can confirm it's really good. Everything has been remade and it has PS2-era graphics. Reminds me of the DQV remake on PS2, but has a bit faster system and more animations etc.
I'd say quantum computing, nanotechnology (not the nanotubes, but arranging individual atoms and later subatomic particles), synthetic biology and fusion energy are far "bigger" than head-mounted displays.
Most likely the multiplat games displayed here are the PC versions. PSVR cannot put out stronger than PS3-era graphics, it's too taxing to the system otherwise. But the immersion and new gameplay ideas will help to push the system. Day one for me with RIGS.
People who back games on kickstarter really need to start seeing beyond a few concept art pictures and promising pitch. Before people throw money at projects they should do research and ask themselves and the developers if there is actually anything substantial behind those glittering images.
Personally, I never trusted Project Phoenix. Just like Playdek, I thought they bit more than they can chew.
Without knowing that Dogmeat is actually the name of the dog, I came to see a photo of a piece of dog meat that is wearing clothes...
Aye! I wouldn't think it's wise to actually start moving around without seeing anything. Particularly with a flood of sensory information that is unrelated to your surroundings. It can throw off people quite easily, too easily if I may.
VR should stay at this stage as a headmounted display with headphones to advance the first, but already rather large step into the immersion. As VR will stay wired for a long time, Sony is wise to perfect VR as something that is done w...
If you have the physical game, can you use them though? I've got Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon physical copies and want to finish them both... Might want to buy Xbox One for those and for Halos and some exclusives.
While I don't like high school themed games or Kadogawa games' first few products, they seem to be upping their game. I'm actually a bit interested in both of them!
There is nothing insane here. If you were to understand the game making processes, you would certainly not be saying that.
It's just pure geometry. They use a unique asset set for each area and thus can simply just create geometry as much as they please. If each km2 had been unique in terms of assets and 3D animated objects, then the game design here would have been "insane" (because it would truly take insane amount of work).
It does not take...
I know people are going to lynch me for saying this, but (yikes!) lately I've come to think that Takahashi and Soraya should have stayed on the path of much more linear games.
Xenoblade was too much of an MMORPG with an empty world filled with pointers and to-do lists. It felt often like working when I played the game. Xenogears and Xenosaga I-III had a purpose and direction. There is no reason a linear game cannot be large aka Xenogears, Chrono Trigger and FFVII. Particu...
Looks surprisingly good!
Yeah, I'm gonna buy it. I'm a hardcore Elite and Wing Commander fan. Doesn't mean I can't joke about it, though!
So that's where the $100,000,000 went!!
Same here! I'd love to play this and Wasteland 2:DC, but there's simply not enough time to play all this stuff. I still have Yakuza Restoration, Dragon Quest VII remake, Fire Emblem: Awakening, GTA V to finish. Didn't even start MGSV:PP yet, and I'm a hardcore MGS fan. Real-life is taking it's toll on my gaming. I used to want to use my holidays to play games, but now it's just so much more satisfying to travel to new countries for a few weeks. Damnit, I hope I get thi...
Here you go, sir!

Since when did adult male gamers started to like playing with dolls?
