After skipping the first ever Nintendo console with Wii U, I would be interested to see what the company could do with an online all-digital, more powerful, but purely games-focused console with a traditional controller.
Having some sort of best edition of Dragon Quest XI would not hurt the sales either.
Absolutely. N4G is hosted by a Norwegian media company, so why don't we keep the discussion global, not local? And about games.
We need more people from Middle-East, Asia, Africa and Mid and South America to comment here!
Europe, and especially US has taken over, as usual, with their thinking where they are the center of the universe.
Hotline Miami made me feel pretty powerful. There's nothing like the power of the psyche!
Learn to spell titles! Sep_a_rate.
More the merrier! But which one of the 521 languages and dialects do you prefer?
Destiny should have a similar feeling to System Shock 2 with its VAs. The woman AI voice in that game was probably the best I've heard in video games.
Yup, you are right! :)
Yes.
I'm sure you can find me writing "remaster/remake" referring to the fact that these terms are allied concepts which overlap and are oftentimes used interchangeably.
I found Balthier, Fran, Ashelia and Basch to be the most interesting characters of the story.
You probably already know that Vaan and Penelo were added to the game by the request of Square Enix to make sure they have young protagonists. There is a reason he does not truly fit the sto...
What I'd like to happen here is the same thing that happened with Final Fantasy Tactics and particularly with Tactics Ogre remaster/remake.
Matsuno at helm with his team and redoing the game with the existing assets, but also using all the cut content and implementing it in an intelligent and meaningful way into the game. Graphics could be upgraded to PS4 FFX / FFX-2 quality, but just slightly better (the source material was higher definition than in the earlier FF games ...
Oh noes... sounds bad. I don't like 2005 and onwards Japanese style of drawing anymore in entertainment products. Everything became too cute. It used to be relatively mature, deep and cool. Now it's just deep, but with little children. I'd like to have adult protagonists in Tri-Ace RPGs. Their lack of style and silly stories set me off. Radiata Stories and Star Ocean 2 were really good, though. Haven't tried Resonance of Fate yet, but I heard good things about it.
Nope! It's underrated!
DC is great! Stop posting crap like this.
The irony!
And region-free. The reason I stay off from DS, 3DS and Wii-consoles is that I tend to move around from one region to another every 2-3 years and carry my consoles with me. Nintendo consoles are a nightmare for a modern global citizen.
It would be V-2, because V-II is nonsensical. Or maybe I just didn't get the joke! :D
Battlefield 1942 was the stuff. Damn, we had so much fun when someone crashed an airborne vehicle on you and everyone would burst laughing! After that, it became this too serious military shooter where skills and points and whatnot started to dominate. Just loved the original for its fun-value. Good times! (BF2 was still good, though, but not as hilarious)
If NX is an AR-based machine and it's done right, could be a major hit. VR is too "intrusive" for Nintendo's family console image. They try and bring always one new feature, so AR could be it. Another thing that it might be is something that is DS + Home console in one mobile device, maybe with some AR, or 3D or something.
Anyway, they will definitely bring something else on the table than just a beast of a classic console. Just the way they are. Personally,...
If I'm lucky, I'm going to score a job in that Japanese mobile game market in the coming weeks!
It's amazing how fast it grows. It's a good time to get in start-ups that are still searching for their hit game. Huge prospects.
I think Japanese mobile game market's customers have around 10-times the purchasing power compared to USA. Imagine that!
Suikoden from the original team, Tactics game from Matsuno and true sequel to Xenogears (episode VI). I know these are impossible to make, but one can always dream! :)
