Might want to spice up your language a bit. It'll help when Robo Recall makes you eat these words :p
Ubisoft support their online games really well. For Honor, The Division, Rainbow 6 Siege are all still going pretty strong. Even the real flops like The Crew and Steep get decent support.
Credit where it's due.
It had all kinds of peer 2 peer issues, and exploits dominating all the competitions and stuff.
Still, after-the-fact ubisoft moved it all to dedicated servers, and Ubi do seem to be pretty good as far as supporting their online games is concerned.
I'm still tempted to give it a go. Not 'full-price' tempted though :)
But... A poll is a form research.
Would have been nice if they'd confirmed this last week, while the game was reduced on the Black Friday sale. Fortunately I'm not short of things to play, so I can wait until it comes back down :)
I like your name. You're like a super-enhanced Chris, about 2x more powerful than that "Chris Pro" fellow. Respect.
UHD Blu-ray definitely has a small market, but it happens to have a clear overlap with the small market that would be interested in the upgraded consoles (ie people that care about image quality).
It is strange that Sony didn't include it, but meh.... that horse has been beaten enough already.
Strange that the text implies console versions are DRM-free. Having to physically put the game into a drive just to prove you still own it is the most regimented and effective form of DRM there is.
Destiny 2 isn't the best example, as Bungie have actually said it will be native 4k on the X
Player retention as a percentage probably is better. The backlash for the game started before launch, so the people that still bought it knew what they were letting themselves in for (or weren't the type to care).
EA are basically spinning a positive out of the fact that many people "on the fence" never bought the game, so they were never lost.
Quantum Break? Naw man, it was £14.99 in the recent sale.
A loss to Epic would see the DMCA denied, and the video allowed to be published on YouTube. That seems fairly unlikely.
Yeah, cos EA and Epic need people like you trying to convince them to pursue micro-transactions as a revenue stream.
That's your big plan, right? Being a cheerleader for loot crates?
The opposite. DF tested the full game, but the enhancements are not in it yet.
They updated the text portion of the article with some initial findings from the demo. Not sure they update the videos.
Ittoittosai hath spoken. Expect the case to be thrown out, and the video to be made available on Youtube immediately.
Oh no wait, you don't know what you're talking about.
I'm not sure the Pro is using Sata II, but even if it is it should see bandwidth of about 375MB/Sec. Not the full potential of the SSD, but a vast improvement over the <100MB/sec of the 5400RPM mechanical.
@ProjectVulcan that's why it struck me as odd when digital foundry recommended installing to the internal drive for better performance/less hitching.
That claim from a reputable source warrants fresh benchmarks.
Well yeah I'm referring specifically to the PCs I use. That's implicit when I'm talking about my own experience...
He's referring to the Atmos for Headphones app on the PC and XBox. The user pays the license fee for that, and can use any headset they like. PC and XBox also have WIndows Sonic, which follows the same object-based surround concept and is free.
It would be great if Sony followed suit instead of peddling over-priced virtual surround sound headsets (directly and through licensed partners like Turtle Beach). It is a relatively recent feature though, so not necessarily the ...
