Certainly seems to, but give it time and I'm confident you'll be OK.
So bitter. Destiny 2 outsold whatever your favourite game is :-/
Don't overcook it man. Any 1080Ti running this at 30fps would be a sent back as faulty.
Amazing!
Never change, Tazzy.
There seems to be a bug with HDR on the Pro version. There was an article about it on here, and lots of people are in the same boat as you.
It'll probably be fixed within a week.
What makes you think this is the best they can get out of the X? It runs the same settings as the Pro on everything except resolution. If that's not an attempt at parity then it is one helluva coincidence.
@mako what makes your post funny is that the game supports PS4 and PC cross-play. Hell yes I'm afraid so.
Boooooo #noparity booooo.
Still, the game does look good and the HDR is very well done.
Oh Foxtrot. You're so gross.
It's a valid comparison imo, in so far as both feature a vast uncharted space to explore and survive as a core concept of the game. That's about where the comparison ends though.
I hope Sea Of Thieves has a fair capacity to explore under the sea as well as above it. There is something ominous about the deep sea, and it would contrast really well with the cheery art style and the whimsical atmosphere of the taverns. So long as they can nail the undersea 6dof gameplay...
It really just needs one dev/publisher/game to break through, and I'm sure loads will follow very quickly.
I'm thinking of going authentic Somali pirate. I'll probably be banned from Live within a week.
@ZaWarudo actually I think it was Microsoft that stepped in to block it. MS have repeatedly stated that they are open to cross-play, but the implementation from Epic broke some policy and MS intervened.
It is almost certainly around the way micro-transactions are handled.
Look up. This is an article about a creative director at Epic pushing for cross-play.
Or is he just an Xbox fan too?
Very few games actually use Live or PSN in a meaningful way. Live used to have TruSkill matchmaking, VOIP, player reputations and all that jazz to tie things together and make something of a service out of it, but in some cases Sony caught up, and in others 3rd parties by-and-large said "no thanks, we'll do our own thing". With third parties doing their own thing, there is very little distinction between PSN and Live, and frankly both Sony and MS are cheeky twats for locking mul...
When you are looking at 3rd party games like Fortnite that already host the game servers and VOIP, PSN and Live are hardly part of the experience at all. Cross-play in that scenario isn't a technical challenge, it's just policy and red tape.
Ok 👌
I'm glad you guys came through. I was beginning to despair for humanity lol.
I dunno man, I think there is a good chance that the total number of consoles sold will decline.
...
Names certainly don't appear to be your forte.
