Personally I'd love to see a Lego Minecraft game, that would be the ultimate troll in human history. That would be truly unexpected too, if its something like Battlefront 3 or Timesplitters then that isn't so unexpected.

If I had to make a wild guess though my money is on Gran Turismo 6 or a new Batman game.

Well there is almost no variety on PC. Pretty much all servers are 1000 ticket Operation Metro Conquest. The variation is whether the server allows RPG's and Grenade Launchers or not, and whether it is 16vs16 or 32vs32.

I'm sure most people are bored with the setup, but there are just so few other populated servers that you're more or less forced to stick with it or like me stop playing altogether.

Upgrade to Windows 8? No thanks, and I'm not sure upgrade is the right term given my experience with the Win 8 RC I tried. Good thing I already have 64 bit Windows 7 on my machine.

Well then the game industry WILL DEFINITELY disintegrate at one point in the future by this buffoons logic. At some point physical sales of games will cease, and at that point so will used game sales.

In all probability in the future you won't even own the games or media you play, it will all just be streamed over the internet.

The game industry will not disintegrate, it will just adapt and move on. If it was to disintegrate then the cause would be t...

Guess you haven't seen the sales figures then of AMD vs nVidia?

Hardly worth going to see DLC. However I'm sure there will be heaps of stuff there. I still wouldn't write off the next Xbox being unveiled, and Id be surprised if Crytek and Epic don't have some awesome Next Gen tech demos on display.

They likely wont get much out of this Activision and the other defendants will argue (succesfully IMO) that Novalogic haven't been adversely affected by Call of Duty using the term, indeed recent CoD games have been of much higher quality than the Delta Force games of the last 5 years.

Certainly though i would say they will be shown to be entitled to some amount for Activisions obvious trademark violation, but it likely wont be more than 1 dollar for every copy sold, pro...

I don't think games that require really fine control inputs will ever work until we get touchscreens with advanced haptics that fool our brains into feeling distinct buttons on a smooth screen. Should be a reality within the next few years hopefully. At that point proper hardcore fps and tps games will be a reality on touch only devices.

When did Steam add this? Sure, its good news, but Nintendo doesn't deserve praise for it.

You don't know any of the details of the case, yet blindly assume that west and zamp are in the right. Even though people think companies like Activision are 'Evil', which may or may not be the case, they aren't in the habit of engaging in law suits and bringing about the destruction of a popular studio for no reason.

There simply must be a reason that Activison withheld payments from these guys, and no I don't think its greed. They wouldn't just rand...

Crysis could still easily exist without EA. Crytek own the IP fully, EA just publishes it. I used to care about Battlefield but since BF3 I don't anymore, its become something I don't want to spend money on. Never cared about the rest of those franchises.

So long as the hard working developers don't all lose their jobs, I couldn't care less if EA went broke.

Their current low is because of a weak profit forecast, indeed they are forecasting loses for the next two quarters. Their generally being low probably comes down to the fact that they don't seem to ever make much money even during the holiday season and are on a general decline in terms of market dominance.

Cant imagine many will buy the next BF game though, I don't really know anyone who is still playing it and there aren't many active serves these days compared to early in the year. I know I wont be buying the next one if EA don't change their policy around online play for the PC version..

Do what I'm doing and don't buy ANY EA games until they stop being so dickish to loyal customers. The only way they will change is if gamers punish them. If they still don't change then that's too bad, I wont miss them one bit.

Stop punishing those who take a gamble and buy your games EA. After BF3 I have put a blanket ban on buying EA games (other than EA Partners games) until you change your ways. You make it impossible for more than one person to play a copy of a game (BF3), I wont buy any of your games then, simple as that. Adding always on DRM just extends my personal ban on your games.

Crytek says they are porting PC features to console, apparently this confirms PC version is a console port.

Didn't you know that Infinity Blade for iOS is actually the same game as Batman Arkham City, jeez get with it. /s

You make a bloody good point sir, well done.

Is there a single shooter that runs at native 1080p on consoles? As if it would ever happen with a game that looks as good as Crysis.
