Exactly, if the solution is to get people to try it out, then the problem is getting people to try it out.
When did 5% become a leap?
They license their engine mate...
You guys must hate watching TV, all those companies opening their mouths trying to sell you stuff... Why do you expect him to not talk up his tech at the expense of the competition?
That is not valid. Unreal Engine was around from the start of the generation whereas CE3 launched many years late. By the time CE3 launched most devs had already either made their own engine or had already used UE3 so it wasn't worth them spending time getting used to another engine. But once next gen starts that will probably change dramatically.
No I think they are saying that if they don't sell 5 million copies then it isn't worth their investment as they would rather use that developer and the funds on a product that will sell more.
It's EA though, they never learn.
Did you expect a console game to look anything other than mediocre at this stage?
Yeah because the PSP was flooded with games wasn't it /s. I'd bet all my money the Vita fails. The market has changed, Sony hasn't.
It may well be the case that for Sony the plan is to make money on both consoles, but there is no way they are making money off the Vita right now so they definitely need to turn it around quickly or just cut their loses and stick to the home console market.
Not adjusting at all I would say.
I've been bored since December 2010 quite frankly, not been inspired by much since then.
Gaming industry is headed for a major collapse I fear. No one is shifting hardware or software lately.
The only reason Motorola ramped up the prices for MS is because Microsoft decided they would take Motorola to court for several frivolous patents and sought bans on Motorola products. I hope MS lose just so they stop trying to bully everyone into paying licensing fees in an attempt to stall androids spread and reduce its competitiveness.
Should report them, it is against the rules.
What is this magical stream you talk of, do you not know about smart, internet connected TV's? Or even smartphone and tablets acting as hubs...
Well, Crytek didn't make Haze and I doubt a new Timesplitters would sell 4 or so million copies...
Plus, they've said before that no publishers are interested in the idea, so if they can't get funding how can they make it?
I agree with you mate, I would be much more in awe of these guys if they told a movie quality story in a way that is truly interactive in a traditional game sense. It would be a million times more engaging and memorable if you actually did the things that happen in the game as opposed to just rotating an analogue stick in a certain way.
He's the CEO, it's his job to talk up their stuff...
Its called fiction for a reason. Did you not know that Assassin's Creed, much like the bible, is not a historical document?
