You know that minecraft was actually a rip off itself? It just did it much better than what it ripped off...
If you're going to do that, then why not use a 0.1 to 2.0 scale?
If I needed to trade in games able to afford new ones then I probably would, but for now when I don't need to I would rather build up a gaming collection and not contribute to used game sales.
I hope EA crumble, bunch of tossers.
Some people say that CryEngine 3 is overrated. The only explanation is that they are blind, those screens are fantastic.
Getting sick of politicians, if there is any proof that democracy is a terrible system it is that bellends like these guys get into a position of power. Only problem is there is mist likely no better system...
I thought hurt locker was a shite movie that got way too much respect, but anyway...
I feel ya bro, I have the same issue. For me at least I guarantee it isn't my PC being faulty as I can play the MP on ultra fine, but it crashes during loading. Haven't updated yet, so ill see if that fixes it. If not, I'm definetly done with the game.
Why not hit reply when you wish to reply to somebody?
How can I play a game which barely works and then simply overlook those issues? I know not everyone has the crashing issues I've had, but based on message boards there are quite a few people who this has effected. I gave EA over 3 weeks to sort these issues out and they didn't even acknowledge their existance. It would be improper of me not to mark a game down for such impactful technical issues, and a score of 3/10 for me reflects that the game is broken but otherwise quite sound.
If you read the review, which I bet you haven't, then you will see the amount of issues I had with the game in terms of technical issues. These things really don't affect graphics, sound or gameplay do they, and the reason I decided not to dock points off fun factor and online was as coolbeans suggests to show what the game would be like for someone without the issues I had. I did however mean to give online and fun factor 8/10 each not 9/10.
You read the review in the 1 minute after this was posted before you commented? Well done! By the way, it is somewhat suspicious that you are so enthusiastic about the quality of every capsulecomnputers.com.au article...
That is a fooking huge apple
So its basically free so long as you want to buy something else from Amazon, thats a bloody good deal.
Like I said, due to technical issues I've only played the first level of the campaign and from what I saw it didn't appear to match the realism offered by C2 post DX11 upgrade. However, that train mission doesn't exactly provide the best conditions for a graphical showcase so maybe the rest of the game looks a lot better, I cant really comment.
Anyway thanks for the compliment, glad to hear someone appreciates the time I put into the review.
Already? It came out in April and considering this holiday is absolutely packed with top quality new games you have to do something to get noticed. Plus it was rated roughly 90/100 on metacritic, so it wasnt exactly a bad game was it.
I agree, for me cut scenes Undermin3s the sense of immersion I have in a game. If say a FPS kept the cutscenes somewhat interactive (ie move the camera) and in the same perspective as the gameplay (a la Crysis 2) then I have no problem though.
Terrible list for why you should NEVER buy a game at launch
1: The game is broken - Most games have at least some bugs, but rarely are they 'broken'
2: The game is expensive - Not always, and even so sometimes it is worth it.
3: The content is missing - Sure DLC might come, but I rarely ever buy DLC anyway so why would I wait for it to all be avaiable before buying the game?
4: The content is dissapointing - Really, e...
Did you rush this review? It has a lot of mistakes in every paragraph. I agree with your points though.
None of those are 3rd party franchises though, which I think is the point of the article. Bethesda have recently pushed out a few 3rd party games which have sold well, where as pretty much no one else is publishing 3rd party games that actully sell well.
Note that here, 3rd party means a game from an IP or dev team not owned by the publisher.
