Not come across many issues, been a console gamer since 1995 and PC gamer since 2007. Coming to PC was the best thing I've done.
Well its maybe because you graphics card was not up to specification, it will run the game but not well, it depends on the settings.

CryEngine 2 is an extremely powerful game engine and at least 6 years ahead of time.
CryEngine 2 is 8th Gen ready in my honest opinion.
