PhysX with probably Apex, 3D Vision, Higher Res textures plus AA and AF.
If its anything like Batman: Arkham Asylum on PC its going to be 120FPS Vsync 95% of the time. For me anyway :)

For sure, in gaming there is barely any difference between Intel and AMD.
No real noticeable difference at all.

Looks like its going to be my 3rd purchase for PS3 this year.
Why a GTX 260 when it only supports DX10, a GTX 550 Ti or better still GTX 560 Ti.
Plus newer GPU/CPU don't mean more power.
Example:
i7 2600k = 95Watt TDP
i7 880 = 95Watt TDP
Roughly same power consumption, but the 2600k is about 33% better clock for clock plus has an internal GPU.
More performance but same power

GTX 260 = 182Watt TDP
GTX 550 Ti =...
Truth is a 8800 GTS from 4 years ago will still destroy 360 and PS3 games.
Also no 3rd part games on PC look worse than the console counterparts even if ported.
Remember we can force AA and AF plus have up to 2560 by 1600p surround gaming which is 6x times 1080p.

Sony needs it out by the end of this year.
One thing Nintendo and Sony has against Tablets and Smart Phones is their 1st party line ups but that alone will not save them.
3rd party like EA are now looking at these mobile platforms more and more, not just to release games that is aimed at casual gamers but also to run games that you would expect on PS3 and 360.

The reason I say this is because Nvidia and AMD are releasing major innovation in graphics hardware.
Nvidia has Maxwell to be released in 2013 which is 16 times Tesla, Tesla is already over 4 times PS3
Maxwell could be up to 64 times PS3 on paper.
Also I'm 100% sure AMD will have a similar performance product.

I agree with Deputydon, the name will stay but HL3 will defiantly have FB2/CE3/UE4 type visuals, no doubt.
Guys these sources are rarely wrong, Foxconn is huge and information about tons of technology gets leaked in that part of the world every month.
I do doubt the PS4 will release 2012 but, maybe E3 2012 reveal with Q4 2012/1H 2013 release window.
