Well everyone involved in previous titles went bankrupt besides Rebellion which has moved onto other projects.
Pandemic went Bankrupt (Formed into new studio)
Free Radical went Bankrupt (Purchased by Crytek)
All the studios that made the games great either can't get involved or LucasArts will not let them.
Really badly want it, the leaked footage for Free Radical was just out of this world.
Deus Ex is not really for me, sorry no hating :/
Here is the games I'm going to get:
Dead Island (PC)
Dead Block (PC)
Formula 1 2011 (PC)
Rage (PC)
Batman: Arkham City (PC)
Battlefield 3 (PC)
The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC)
Assassin's Creed: Revelations (PC)
L.A. Noire (PC)
Hard Reset (PC, will have to look into first)
And on consoles:
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (360)
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (P...
Agree with points 5,4 and 2
Master Chief is kind of cool but that's it.
Never liked the multiplayer, would not recommend either.
Looking forward to Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo 4 :)
"deservedly blown away"
From all the news I've heard the guy was non-violent in the taxi, the police marksman just shot like it was some game of Call of Duty.
Firstly, police brutality is on the rise, world wide fact. just look at the reports of cops tasering 7 year old kids.
Secondly, you can't just paint everybody with the brush
Finally, some great quotes that should be universal in all countries:
...
Its been hijacked by criminals no doubt.
However like Ken Livingston said a lot of these people are kids that have no future, unemployment is high and they can't afford college costs, they have nothing but years on Job Seekers.
Hell even people with degrees can't get jobs and are overqualified for the ones out there, its just a mess.
Cutting EMA was just one of the events that caused this snow ball.
So accepting shit or lazy ports is stuck up?
PC gamers want the best, what is wrong with that?
Console gamers should be the same!!!
Don't just accept anything.
DLC is mainly an issue consoles created, example would be Call of Duty World at War and Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare
All DLC on Consoles cost £8 or equal to that.
All DLC on PC was patched in for free.
PC exclusive developers mainly release DLC for free...
The Witcher 2 may have better graphics however
The Elders Scrolls III: Morrowind
The Elders Scrolls IV: Oblivion
The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim
These games have changed RPGs forever, I would easily put it every Bethesda games ahead of The Witcher or other such as games Dragon Age.
Only care for Dead Island on that list.
Going to get:
Formula 1 2011 (PC)
Rage (PC)
Batman: Arkham City (PC)
Battlefield 3 (PC)
The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim (PC)
Assassin's Creed: Revelations (PC)
L.A. Noire (PC)
And on consoles:
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (360)
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (PS3)
The Elders Scrolls V: Skyrim is going to ...
Guys just get the PC version, £30/$40-$50 no online pass.
LOL not likely
Epic Games will always be multiplat (most games PC exclusives)
Crytek just gone multiplat (1st 3 games PC exclusives)
Gas Powered Games are mainly PC with Xbox 360 ports
Remedy Entertainment is probably going multiplat again, Alan Wake when it was shown for the first time at IDF it looked amazing, then it was hijacked and turned into fail once it went 360 exclusive.
Only one I can see there is Ruffian Games, whi...
Digital Corridor are EPIC and so is Freddie Wong, Brandon Laatsch and their team :)
I understand that.
But it true, 22GB or so.
360 = DVD 3 Disks fail!!!
PS3 = 9MB/s Blu Ray read speeds fail!!!
Full Install or FAIL
Still for best experience including:
Mods, Commands (debug), better graphics and in years to come we will have id tech 5 source code.
No one played?
I know at least half those that was played.
Yep PC is going to kill it 16K by 16K textures
Pre-purchase time on Steam.
Such a shame DVD gimped storage capacity killed the 360 version
Such a shame Blu Ray gimped the read speed of the PS3 version
Never mind, PC it only does everything...
Was there really any doubt :)
@ jaosobno
Sounds like one epic rig in the making, I'm also hoping bulldozer is good. will bring Intel prices down fast if it was.
Bulldozer and Southern Islands all within a 3 month window. AMD is really punching for the stars.
No doubt Intel will dominate in 2012 with Ivy Bridge.
Nvidia is going to be the unknown in 2012 though, Kepler looks good on paper but so did Fermi and we all know how that turned out.
Rum...
i3 is an outrageous statement from you.
Of course in single-threaded programs the i3 would beat any AMD CPU on the market.
However as we have seen, most games support Dual-Quad cores with some scaling higher. BF3 is a multi-threaded game like most these days.
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T - 1100T destroys i3 in multi-threaded applications.
Sandy Bridge architecture is far superior to Thuban but not enough for a DualCore to out beat a HexCore

"I'm dubious as to how successful social media sites really are when it comes to video game promotion"
Really really?, I'm no fan of this social website gamimg model but they make a steady and constant income with micro transactions and advertisements.
It really comes to no surprise.
Even Web browsers games like Battlefield Heroes and Battlefield Play4Free are extremely successful.
