PSVita biggest selling points are no doubt its software line up and functionally plus the cameras can be used for interesting experiences even though they're SD.
Having a standard earphone jack and USB is also another big plus.
However the big mistake is memory, I thought Sony would of learned. They should of had either 1GB LPDDR2 or 512MB LPDDR2/ 512MB VRAM
Another point is that its only going to be a Tri-core, 1 cores is locked for PSVita OS.

I think its very harsh for an Indie game.

PC gamers want MMO quests/raids to be almost impossible and to take several hours.
PS3 gamers want MMO quests/raids to be over fast to get the loot.
PC gamers, want a extreme challenge.
PS3 gamers, want to rush onto the next one.
Sounds to me that PS3 gamer can't wait to finish the game, where as the PC gamer really want to enjoy every experience.

Valve just keep on delivering, I'm expecting a Free to play model for Dota 2 and CS:GO on PC and Mac, just like TF2 is now.
What are you taking about, Half-Life was and always was Valve's creation, Gearbox only ported it to the PS2.
Counter Strike was a mod, Valve took on the modders to improve the game. Gearbox was only involved with one add-on pack.
Gearbox has only ever done ports or add-ons
Its like saying Gearbox did Halo: Combat Evolved, they only ported it to the PC.
