the ps4 lacks a lot of games. i think the x1 got the better titles up front which also explains why my ps4 has been collecting dust up until second son finally came out. . and yes the x1is better software wise. the system is way more stable, new features have already been added and new sdk's are making it easier to develop for.
i agree. I was actually surprised when i got my x1 how many great features of the 360 didn't carry over. i assume they were just in a rush to get it shipped. at least they are cranking great updates regularly. well done.

well... i went both routes... and i am glad i did. the ps4 is awesome, but the x1 is too (even if it had a rough launch). its a shame that all the media overhype blows things way out of proportion.

ummm... i don't know where to start with this comment. any system can be optimized with better drivers etc to deliver more performance. the ps4 is not "so powerful" that it doesn't need this update and any ps4 dev would love to get their hands on more power if given the opportunity. in fact devs are already close to bumping the ceiling on ps4 power with many titles and its still not doing what a pc can do. the ps4 has its own bottleneck. the x1's is esram, the ps4'...

I have the ps4 and the x1 here are my honest opinions of both. the ps4 controller is cool but i like the x1 controller more. it feels more connected to my hand. the sticks are really grippy and i like in addition to the rumble of the controller, the triggers also have pulse motors in them. it provides really great haptic feedback that to me personally is more effective than a tiny speaker that usually startles me more than compliments the experience. no joke. i've been kinda loving having a ps4 and x1... and titanfall on the 360 does look pretty decent - but it looks and runs way better on x1. i think its weird that people will nitpick a slight upscale between x1 and ps4 but titanfall on 360 looks good enough (at sub 720p, 30fps, with half rez textures, no particles, self shadowing, downrezed models) to not buy next gen.

its true. it sells well more often than not. japan loves playstation especially. im sure this is nothing but a money thing. the one thing though is that x1 has been outselling the ps4 in the US recently. whether thats due to desire or more availability i dunno. Regardless, i don't think the ps4 has anything to worry about any time soon.

Its already used in Forza 5 and Titanfall to at least a smaller degree. The cloud handles all the opponent drivatars (algorithms that mimic a real players driving based on how they play their own careers then dumps them into your own single player games). On Titanfall there are lots of bg elements, auto turrets, even your titan when in sentinel mode is all computed by cloud processing.

I think what MS is doing with the Xbox is great. The cloud/drivatar system in Forza is an awesome example and that was just a baby step. It makes you feel like you are really playing other people, even in your career mode. Its only going to get better and more dialed in. well.... first off. Personally, my internet connection has gone down approximately 0 times since I've had my broadband connection. Secondly, you need a high bandwidth connection to even play games online anyway. If you don't have a high bandwidth connection, you are missing out on both consoles.
