Oh the irony. You can say what you want but in the end, I explained myself and if you don't believe it, then so be it. I'm secure with my decision to play online without paying. Heck, people do it all the time on the PC, why not ont he consoles? I guess all those PC players must be out of work too...
You fanboy!!! Fanboy of games you! ;-)
Even a return to Vecta would be cool. There was plenty of greenery that could have been and could yet be int he next game.
There are haters in the midst of us. People who call themselves gamers but are simply fanboys. Sheep in wolves clothing that is. Cowards that won't rebuttal with words but simply hit disagree when somebody simply states fact. As if Killzone 3 would not look any better than the second one. It is history that games get better in terms of graphics, not worse.
I can't wait to see what they do with KZ3, it will look amazing.
Isn't Splinter Cell coming out for the PC as well? Just asking because I thought exclusive meant exclusive to one console and not cross platform. PC is still a relevant platform these days right?
Also, not to mention that it is yet to be released... You could compare it to Uncharted 2 which blows Splinter Cell: Conviction out of the water in terms of graphics. Both are going to great titles but to say SC:C is going to be a true competitor for graphics in the near future, well, ...
Maybe, just maybe the folks here that sound like they are in anticipation of the new controls are not part of that fanboy crowd you speak of... I can say that the Wii controller is not a true 1:1 ratio controller and though it is nice, it is not for me. With Wii Motion Plus, maybe but from the looks of it, Sony is the only one ont he way to a true 1:1 ratio and if it is, then it will definitely get some of my cash. If not, then I will pass on that as well.
Having a job does not make the principle of paying for a service that should be free go away. I would rather take that 50 bucks and get a game and play it online for free with the PS3. I will say that games for the 360 are great and the online is great as well but when I can play the same game on the PS3 and do it for free, yeah, I will spend that 50 bucks elsewhere.
I game online and the PSN allows me to do that, for free. Having a job does not make Live cost any less...
Well for starters... Have him take a lesson from JFK, Nixon, and Reagan. Take a stand and be a man about this. You would be amazed at how many times a country was eliciting anger from the US and the Pres simply stood up to a microphone and demanded a falling back of our enemies and actions were taken. There was even a time when a President simply loaded up a few bombers and had the press take pictures of them for the sole purpose of scaring the crap out of an enemy of the States into submissi...
I play COD4 all the time and on the PSN it is free. I have helped a dozen buddies of mine over to the PS3 due tot his. No fees to simply play the game as it comes. When I pay 60 bucks, I get to play the game as it is supposed to be played on or off-line. I like Live as much as the next guy but as of this year, I have stopped playing online with Live due to the fees. The PSN is a true competitor as of late and the cons of PSN do not outweigh the price I had to pay to play online with the 360. ...
G.W. warned congress against the credit that was being issued to those who did not have the incomes to support it and they did nothing. When called to the carpet, the democrats were left holding the bag and moved to discuss other issues since that would bring an unhealthy light tot he "Hope and Change" campaign...
In the end, no US President should take over financial institutions and no, in no circumstance should he or she be taking over major corporations like GM or...
The one motion control that offers true 1:1 ratio of motion capture will be the one form of motion control I will have and use... And from the looks of it, Sony's delivers. Sorry, but even after seeing Natal on Jimmy's show, I could not help but feel it lagged behind and I have reservations against not having a controller with buttons in my hand while playing games. Utilizing both controllers and motion control just seems to be the best way to go.
I have read some pretty stupid posts here on N4G before but I have to admit, this one takes the cookie... No wait, it takes the entire cookie jar. Please, Activision is doing this as a bluff. It has been done before by other companies and failed for them yet they are still developing/publishing for Sony consoles. It would be devastating for Activision to give up on the 50 million PSP owners, 20 million PS3 owners and 150 million PS2 owners. Sorry, but common sense would tell you this is just ...
Pathetic. Yeah Sony, run out and divulge all of your corporate plans an see where that gets you...
Fail of an article.
So does that 16 gig memory stick also make the PSP lighter, smaller and more pocket friendly?
I think Sony would do well by the series to release it spring of next year but I can hope that Fall of this year would work. I want to play this game as bad as the next guy and if this does come true, I will be there day one.
You posted this:
A selection of 3rd party revenue data, most recent I could find. Included historical comparisons for Activision.
Activision (Q1 to March 2009) http://files.shareholder.co...
PS3: 13% (up from 11% prev Q, up from 6% the previous Q1)
360: 20% (up from 19% prev Q, down from 35% the previous Q1)
Wii: 14% (down from 22% prev Q, up from 8% the previous Q1)

The Xbox 360 SHOULD BE OUTSELLING the PS3. It's 200 bucks cheaper these days in most territories. All I can say is that when the Xbox starts to outsell the PS3 in Japan, we can hope for a price drop since that is what seems to be the trend in gaming. A price drop for the PS3 would be great for everybody!
Arguing about sales of consoles at this time int he generation is completely idiotic.
And doing it badly. Sorry, but I suspect two things here, one, Sony will reduce their price 50 bucks this year when the PSPgo is released and two, Activision will continue to support Sony despite my first point.
So with that in mind:
Metacritic Reviews
Prototype = 78
inFAMOUS = 85
So by a decent margin, enough worth noting anyway, inFAMOUS wins but both are worthy of being played. At best I would say Prototype is a rental and inFAMOUS is a purchase.
As I stated early on, it's not about the cost or my ability to pay for it, its all about the principal of it and how if other companies let you game online for free, so should the 360. With the other two avenues, PS3 and PC allowing me to play online for free, why bother paying for the 360's Live? In the end, I have plenty on the other two platforms to play online that spending the 50 bucks a year for Live seems pointless. You can keep slamming me for it but in the end, the argument you are w...
