You took the words right out of my mouth. Bubbles to ya.
The review is not all that good, I'll admit that but to insinuate the Sony Fanboy Theory here is just plain ludicrous.
Yup, played it on both systems and due to more of my friends being on the PSN, I stuck with the PS3 version. Although, I never did complete the single player on the PS3, the online works just fine.
Also, CAT6, CAT5e, it makes no difference if your ISP sucks. What are your upload/download/ping speeds? CAT5e will support 100 MHz and nearly 1gb/second so anything less than that will show no improvements on performance with a CAT6. You would need some blazing speeds to show any dif...
They both look pretty good. Can't tell a difference enough to complain about either one.
And to the Kameo 2 comment... Yeah baby, Kameo 2 would be slick. I loved the first one.
And never have issues unless the host has a poor connection. Maybe you might want to try out another ISP.
Should this be resubmitted as a review, not a preview?
It doesn't. Sure you can have more features with Live, there's no denying that but in the end, some gamers just want to play online and could care less about these other features. When I am playing online, I am playing with the guys I want to chat with so cross game chat is useless to me but there are some that love that feature. In the end it's what you want. I want free online play, and some want features that help justify a 50 bucks a year fee. It's all in what you want.
Comments like that are not needed. You cannot build constructive discussion from fanboy dribble. Please, keep it civil.
The PS3 has a greater percentage of titles 75% and up in terms of reviews. Not to mention the 12 to 15 month head start the Xbox 360 had on the PS3... Yeah, the Wii beats them both out but you get shovelware with the Wii more than any of the current gen consoles. The Wii is more akin tot he PS2 in its later years.
I want good games, so I own both the PS3 and the 360 and fantard articles like this are simply that, retarded.
It was great even without them. Sure trophies add to some level of replay for some but for me, I was more focused on the story and gameplay than some digital e-pene enlargment pill.
That's all well and good but let's keep the discussion about GT5 and leave the Forza talk out of it. Too many fights break out over Forza 3 versus GT5 that it would be a shame to ruin a good thread like this.
The lighting in GT5 is amazing and those pics are simple eye candy to take in. Cannot wait to play this game.
Whatever their plan is, it is certainly not investor friendly. Sorry, but if they want to set an example to Activision as to what it looks like when you support fewer systems then fine but in all honesty, it sure doesn't look good on the books in the end.
Take a close look Activision! This is what happens when you neglect consoles.
inFAMOUS was a must buy title for me. I started playing it and could not put it down until it was done and what a ride it was. Great game. As for Prototype... I sent that back to Gamefly already. Just not as impressed and could not bring myself to even bother finishing the story.
Is the reason why Japan does not like Xbox too well... They like things small over there and that first Xbox controller was huge!
Have a bubble. I agree completely that only those looking to flame are those who say it is not worth the price. First off, many of those saying that bought the 360 when it released for 400 bucks and it comes with no WiFi, a DVD drive and at the time of launch, a 20 gig hard drive. For the same price you get a BD player, WiFi, 80 gig HDD and a large library of great games. If people don't see the value in the PS3, it's because they have not opened their eyes in the past 12 to 15 months.
That is great news. I have absolutely loved the game Uncharted since it hit store shelves and have since played it through a half dozen times. I just cannot get enough of the game and now on to the second installment. Keep it up Naughty Dog!
That thing looks insta cool. Very slick look and I would agree, steam punk = win for me.
The Xbox fanboys here need to take a hint from what appears to be a real Xbox Gamer here and give credit where credit is due. Sure Prototype is a good game but even this author knows what game is superior. inFAMOUS beats out Prototype in virtually every way, and just because it is not on the Xbox doesn't mean you need to flex those fanboy muscles hidden between your ears and act all silly up in here.
I have wanted to play the game since I first read about it and now that it seems to have received a good review, I might have to give it a go as soon as I can.
Bringing up the PC is perfectly relevant since it is a relevant platform. Arguing that there is a number of games exclusive to a platform is one thing but one needs to know if that game is available on the PC then it is not exclusive. The sad part of this is that journalists spread the lies about exclusivity and ignore the PC gamers. They too have a relevant platform and it should get just as much press as the 360.
For the sensible post. It amazes me when the little kiddies pitch a fit about free updates as if each update is supposed to be like Christmas in *insert month*. Good gravy, it's as if Sony can do no right by these selfish kids.
