And as for SKYPE, it's cheap even if you are calling a land line or getting your own number. In the end, SKYPE on my PSP has been awesome and for it to be on the PS3 would be slick and free.
If a game does not sell well enough, the developers shy away from making similar games knowing that what they make will not sell either. It's simple, you have to know that when a game sells well there is a greater chance of seeing similar games and more of them. It's a shame to me because I did play them and enjoyed them and if lousy sales are their destiny then I fear that others will shy away from making more games like them and thus hurting me in the end. I like to play games and when devs...
Of what format it will use. I don't see it happening within the next two years but I can see them using BD again but heavily backed with the capabilities to download digitally. I can see it having a massive amount of solid state memory that will quite possibly be upgradable as the HDD is now int he PS3.
Who cares about the Disagree / Agree options? It's nothing to worry about. Heck, people have been abusing that for as long as I can remember. My advice to you is this, ignor it. It matters little anyway.
Wasn't the project name for the Wii, the Revolution? If I recall correctly it was and that is what the Wii was. It brought motion controls into the mainstream and showed what it could do for the casual market. It was a revolution. Anything after is more of a copy but as with Natal, it could quite possibly be a vast improvement.
They are so different? They both react to motion. Sure they might have some differing nuances but in the end, they are both motion controls. One just captures you the user and the other captures the control motions... Seems pretty similar to me.
That Madworld did not do as well as I thought it should. I like the Conduit but it is a bit bland for my tastes and when compared to the over the top attitude of Madworld, I would pick Madworld over the Conduit any day. It just seems that with the attitude of most folks, the Wii is set up more for casual gaming and it will be a struggle for any dev to overcome that reputation of the console when making games set for more mature, hardcore audiences.
That I would not go as far as to say that Natal will revolutionize motion controls but it sure will make it interesting. The thing I like about it is that my kids will not have something in their hands while playing games. That way I can keep from busting out a TV when the remote goes flying. Natal looks good but I have to say that revolutionizing motion controls... Maybe that's stretching it bit too far.
I am not one for getting physical when I am gaming but my kids love it. Can't wait to see where they take this new peripheral.
And will grace my PSP, day one. This has got to be one of the best events to take place for the PSP. Cannot wait for this title. I am a huge driving enthusiast so GT has always been my favorite. So many cars to collect.
They will never overcome them due to price points. Sorry, but the extra polygons and special effects you get with the PC just do not make up for the huge price. Yeah you can build a resectable PC for around 500 to 600 dollars but those that are willing to do it are few in number and those that do not want to build one will just go buy a 360 or PS3.
Make PC gaming cheaper and I can tell you that they will come back in full force but until then, PC gaming, IMHO, will be for the f...
That's why it is listed under rumors. I will say however that the title is a bit misleading.
Did not even bother clicking that link. Sorry, but these guys show a complete lack of knowledge about the gaming industry and show little credibility. It's not worth your time.
@ hay - No, the PS3 is not at the same point that the PS2 was when it launched. It is however, only a couple million behind it and yet was released with a price point twice as much. In other words, the PS3 for the price it was released at is selling nearly as well as the PS2 was int he same time frame a...
There is so many factors that enter into pricing with any company no matter the product. Heck, I bet you guys pay about twice as much for nearly everything we buy here in the States - in your currency. It's not Sony that doesn't care... If that were the case, you would not even get the PS systems or games. There are many countries that don't so you should be ok with the idea that at least you can get one when many others can't.
WIll play it through again soon. That is why I bought it day one. It's one of my all time favorite titles ever.
You can call me all the names you want but my comment history will tell others differently. I have nothing to hide and I certainly won't stoop to name calling. I will however say that despite this being a blog or some article written by some fanboy (if that's what you want to call it) it is still no less worthy of being posted here on N4G than the hundreds of other articles that were bashing of any other console.
And on a side note, it is fun to watch you get your panties all ...
It will be this next holiday season for the debut of the Slim Model PS3... I have even heard rumor that it might be as early as this month.
Why this guy gets paid the big bucks is beyond me. It's not like one would need a degree to predict the obvious. It does beg the question though, what will this new console look like and will it be rid of any unreliability issues that have plagued the 360 thus far?
It's called PlayOn. Got it? Good.... Get it.
Seriously, go troll elsewhere. Pathetic.
