THink logically here. Why would Polyphony Digital spend countless hours rendering in-game vehicles using 200,000 plus polygons only to turn around and produce a pre-rendered video using the same number of poly's? It makes no sense to do that. What does make sense is to show off the video using in-game assets and footage since we already know that the detail of the cars is amazing and the game needs no such pre-rendered foolishness.
Personally would rather see a Killzone 2 level. They could do some great stuff with that.
It comes in the form of costumes and such. I would like to see more developer levels but love the number of awesome levels that are user created. Best example of how UCC can be used and enjoyed.
Exactly. I too would drop support for PSN if I had to pay for it and would go back tot he free online play on my PC. I supported Live for a couple years and found that after the initial feeling of how it was something new and cool to do on my console that it was just not worth the money and since the PC and PSN were free to use, they were and are the better choice - for me.
People can say all they want that Live costs so little and that I should skip out on that #1 Value Meal a...
Let me ask you this...
Does Xbox Live let you play online?
Does the PSN let you play online?
That is the single feature I need so that I can play the game I paid 60 bucks for online with my buddies.
Now, which of these two is free?
Live is great for those that "need" all those extra features but me, I need only one thing. I need to play online and since both services let me do that it all comes down to price.
No, I did not buy 5 360's, that would be stupid. I had an in-store warranty that I used to trade the bad ones in and get a new one every time.
Show me a press release from Sony where they name their controllers. I can call it anything I want and put it into print but that does not make it so. I don't mind Gizmodo but just because a press outfit calls it that doesn't make it Sony's official name. Just saying...
I certainly hope they do. I want to be there at launch to pick up the next Xbox but have to admit that after 5 of these 360's I am a bit sceptical. It's never fun to have a defunct console.
I think by now, many of us know this will change by tonight. It's a band-aid for the time they fix the server issues. I do wonder why they didn't just take the game down unless it takes more time and effort to do that than it is to raise the price beyond a reasonable rate.
As long as they don't use the same folks that made that cord that started the original Xbox on fire. Just stay away from that and they would have a hit.
Make it as reliable as the first Xbox but make it scream like the 360 or better. Man that would be a great deal.
Make it reliable and make the online free. Boom! You got a box that rox. I see they have been improving its reliability but they got to hit that Live fee and get on board with the free gaming online.
---> IMHO of course.
Can you imagine what they would have to do to add more cars and more tracks for the off-road aspects? Sorry, but I will take it as it is and buy GT5 for the few things that Forza 3 will be missing. I just want to get in some more racing!

I know it needs work but just so you get the point, I knew what "cats" you were talking about Natsu X FairyTail. lol
That's because:
1) Microsoft was the only one of the two companies to reveal their motion controller using a title. Sony's motion controller was given no name.
2) The media has wood for natal
In the end, the media gets hits for showing off something different and if they showed off the PS3 controller it would need to be a bit more different looking than the Wii-mote and have a name to go along with it. Since Natal is something that the casual marke...
That it was a sand box game and looked absolutely amazing at the same time. Now I understand why the demo at E3 looked so good. They got rid of the sand box aspect of the game and were then able to ramp up the graphics. If I had it my way, I too would do as they have since sand box games are not entirely my cup of tea.
We all know that most, save for inFAMOUS, sandbox games do not look as good as other genre titles because of the size and scope of the game so for them to drop ...
Who cares? Really, who is it that is asking for a price cut? What group of folks are so interested in a price cut that articles like this are needed?
As much as I like the author of this article I have to say, I am sick of hearing about Sony and the need for a price cut ont he PS3. Here's a tip for anybody wondering...
They will cut the price when they are good and ready. No sooner, no later. It will be on their time and since they have been in the business longer than I have, I can trust they know what they are doing.
It just shows that certain consoles have the games that Japanese folks like best and others don't. Heck, a ton of folks bought the Wii but it still doesn't mean that there are a ton of well loved games on it. The PS3 just happens to have the most popular games coming out on it for the Japanese crowd.
Some day people just need to let this game die... Of course, it will live on forever as a hope and a dream but it just seems like it is pure media hype and nothing more.
Even if the game was released, it would have so high a standards to live up to that it would be destined to fail. Sadly, the game should just go softly into the night.
Gameplay Additions:
1) Upgraded graphics
2) New areas, new save points and shops
3) New foes and bosses
4) New katana weapon: Dragon's Claw and Tiger's Fang
5) Possible to shoot arrows in mid air
6) Can fight on water surfaces
7) Rachel is now a playable character
8) Power of ninpos reacts to shaking the Sixaxis controller
All in all it will be a great game for the PS3 only crowd to pick up but it might be ...
