Your comment is as stupid as somebody saying "Alan Wake is going to suck". See what I did there? I judged a game before ever being able to play it. In other words, stop withou the silly fanboy rants and move on. Troll less, and play games more.
As much as I don't like to break a sweat when playing games, this type of comment is just plain pathetic. Sorry, but SD or motion controls have nothing to do with Mario's sexuality... if he even has sexuality.
Like Sony is dipping their toes in rather than jumping in and making a big mistake. They have set the price pretty low and are doing this to reward those who want the Home rewards. No big deal to me since the game at one time was a full purchase item and even than was not appealing enough to me to buy it. It's just another business model that somebody had to try out.
Key phrase here is: "If you don't like it, don't buy it".
It was a rental for me. I know for some it was well worth the purchase price but for some reason I was sceptical about this one early on. I rented it and loved it but never saw the need to buy it.
Why would somebody buy this now when you can get the game used for a third the price? Is that helmet that cool?
I bought my 360 first because it was launched first and have since played my PS3 more due tot he games. I move back and forth from console to console based on the games that are released and at the moment, the PS3 has the games. As for their prices, I bought them both new when they were launched so price is nothing for me when buying a console. I have to have them all.
Nice try folks but the FUD that many people are spreading here is silly. I have a launch PS3 and it is fine. many of my friends have one and they too are fine. The failure rate for the PS3 is well under the industry standard so Sony has nothing to worry about. People need to stop trying to cover up MS's issues with the RROD by pointing fingers at Sony. Sony did nothing to make the 360 a lower grade piece of hardware.
Has Sony ever left the hardcore gamer out to dry? No, they have not. In fact, they have always put the focus of the hardcore first and I see no difference here. Great games lined up include both hardcore and casual titles.
As I said yesterday, this is a great idea that has made the iPod Touch and iPhone such huge successes. Now with the bite-sized games coming to PSP, it will rejuvenate the user base into gaming on that platform more than they ever have. I love smaller games that I do not have to sink hours into. It's a must have for my PSP.
Nothing was ever said for certain. It would be cool to see it but honestly, I am not an MMO fan so it would make no difference to me.
Since it is a game I want to play but I have to say something against that car... I think it is safe to say that the care there int he photo is... Oh what's the word...
Bufugly!
Yeah, one word.
But all too often do we see devs purchasing the rights to such a vast engine and only scratching the surface knowing that the game will sell a tad more due tot he engine advertised on the box. For instance, the Rainbow Six: Vegas titles. They are two of my all time favorite games but why in the world did they turn out to look so bad when compared to games like Gears? Same engine, different devs. Another year in development and both the RS:V games could have looked 10 times better IMHO.
My kids absolutely love Ratchet and Clank. This is a title that my whole household is looking forward to. It might be the reason I go out and buy yet another PS3... My kids will want their own to play this title and I don't know if I want to share! lol
Quantic's entry into the gaming kind was awesome and that this game is taking a similar path. I find it hard to believe that this author had even played their other game before this. Smoke and Mirrors? For a second there I thought the main characters name of Heavy Rain changed to Milo...
The game is a shining jewel. It's fun, creative, beautiful and makes for a great time when you have a burning desire to play an RPG. This one does not bog you down and make you feel bored at any time.
All I know is that anything they do will be awesome. Killzone 2 was and is still one of the best games I have played on years. If they continue the series then I will be titillated and if they create a whole new IP, then too will I be titillated.
No they did not do the extra spending but they did get the 100 bucks off deal. That makes it about a dozen folks I know that have made the switch so I would say that a public 100 dollar price cut would certainly be a huge deal for many folks on the fence about buying the PS3. Sure it is worth the 400 as it is right now but can you imagine what the sales will be like when it hits 300?
edit:
@ Chrisny85
No, you get the 100 dollar discount the day yo...
Just asking because if you look at their new model for getting software tot he PSPgo, it looks a lot like iTunes. That would mean that perhaps more and more games will come tot he PSPgo at a much cheaper price as they do for the iPod. Now, if you think the iPod is a rip then sure, this would be too but for those who want all the features the PSP has and some great pick up and go games, then it's not all bad.
And... Why is it that you think you have just one bubble? Just asking....
The fanboy banter in here is so thick you could spread it on waffles!
Get a life guys and remember, the games that matter to you are all that are important. Who cares what some article says, if you like the games, then play them!
