In the first hour of the time I spent with this game, I too found it to be pretty bad. It looks ok for adownload and plays "OK" but in the end, the fun factor is just not there. Glad it was only 10 bucks but I wish it were 5... or free.
COD4 was done the right way for me and no matter the console, it was and is the best online game "for me". At the moment, I play it primarily on the PSN and since that is where the majority of my friends are, it just makes sense to enjoy it ont he PSN. I would certainly be bummed if they went exclusive but would get over it as many of my friends and I would move over the 360 to continue playing the game in its second form.
I just cannot understand this idea of it goin...
This site allows for users to submit a few different types of links. Articles, rumors, news, etc. It might be on News 4 Gamers but it might not necessarily be news.
I said that this game is more realistic than FN:R3... Is it not more realistic than it's predecessor?
There are more forms of submissions that just news. Your argument is flawed in that yeah, the title of the site is about news but there are other articles submitted on a daily basis and the site allows them. You cannot discredit it if they at least put it the right category. It's not like we have not seen these types of articles before and quite honestly, I have actually seen worse.
It's not written up as news... It's an article.
Why not this one? Look, I have had 5 Xbox 360's, 4 of which went bad for various reasons. Two RROD'd, one scratched the crap out of two games and one where the console would not read discs. My fifth one has worked great so yeah, there is the luck of the draw when it comes to 360's. Heck, I have had 8 of my friends/clan members go through no less than 2 of these consoles. The worst part of it is that the console has too many great games to stop buying the darn things but in the end, the facts ...
But the rumor a while back was that the game would support micro-transactions rather than a monthly fee.
People hyped Haze to be a the Crysis of consoles before Haze was in the Alpha stages. Obviously, before it hit store shelves they had to dumb it down due to performance issues with the game engine used. So with this game I will say the same thing, don't hype it up before the retail product hits the shelves or you could look equally as stupid as the idiots that hyped Haze up before it was released.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see all of this come to fruition but I refuse...
Oh yeah, just replace the title "metro 2033" with the title "Haze"...
Look, I played Haze and thought the game was OK at best but you have to agree with one thing here... hype kills games in too many cases and to even begin hyping a game like this and pitting it against the visuals of Crysis is silly stuff.
I have to say, I loved FN:R3 and feel they have dumbed down a few too many things in this one. Yeah I know it might be more realistic but in the end, I loved the ease of laying down so many more hay-makers in the third installment. It also felt like when you connected you were rewarded so much more in the last game. This one is a great game but just not as good as the last one.
No they wouldn't. Why would they pass up on the millions of dollars of revenue that both console versions brought in?
The game would be better off if they would just focus ont he PC version. The first one sucked bad and at least on the PC did a tad better in terms of graphics and fewer glitches.
Two Worlds Too. Ok, well maybe there is no way around a bad name for the sequel. lol
I can see where you are coming from and agree that the game will be a good one just for the sake of it's developers and history but have to say, I loved what Splinter Cell was and still do. It would have been just as cool if they would have spit the game off as a new IP and then brought SC back to its roots. I know it's a long shot and a pipe dream but I just miss the SC of old.
I guess if wishes were horses, beggars would ride.
To even suspect that Sony would not have their ducks in a row for a launch of a major handheld is foolish. I cannot understand why so many are so quick to report on anything negative about Sony. It's as if Sony themselves physically abused many of the journalists working these stories these days.
And have to admit that this one is disappointing me. Sure it looks great and will more than likely play great but it is not Sam Fisher to me and seems to have taken the wrong path. I love the original and wish they would have done something more similar to that.
As in what's in my pants right now. That game is looking pretty awesome!
Everybody knows that the PS3 can connect to any server based software on your PC already so just go download PlayOn and boom! You got Netflix. It's just that simple.
Who considered themselves a mature and well minded individual. I agree that the Slim Model is inevitable... Sony has done this for all their platforms. PSP, PSone, PS2 and soon the PS3. It's just their way about business. No matter what it will look like, it is going to happen. In the end, it was never a rumor about the PS3 going slim but rather when the PS3 was going slim.
