It's a known fact that Live was down for those two weeks. It was around Christmas time if I recall correctly and it was a bummer indeed. Couldn't even play COD4 with my buddies at the time and in some cases, some folks made the switch to PS3 just in spite of the situation.
Live typically runs smoothly but looking around the web you can see more articles about Live being down for periods of time spanning 2 to 10 days or so more frequently than the PSN. It's not like it's the end...

Some folks here hold 1, 2 4 and even 10 approval slots. Admins can instantly approve a story and guys like me can click once and get 2 approvals for any one story. In some cases you can have 5 people approve but have the story go through with 10 since each of the 5 approvers hold 2 approval slots.

Personally speaking I like to play my games sitting down and munching on some chips and drinking a beer. If I were to spill any of that beer I could be charged with alcohol abuse so you won't see me getting up to swing at anything using Natal. lol
Sorry, but Dead Space is a personal experience and to have a partner would have ruined the many scary parts of the game. In no way would having co-op been a good thing for the atmosphere of the game, unless of course you cannot handle scary stuff and needed somebody there to hold your hand...
EDGE is trash. I am not going to say that the Conduit is all that great but it is not a 4 out of 10, that's for certain. Now EDGE, they are about a 2 out of 10 in my book when it comes to journalism and that is being generous.
I have to say, I am one to say I will play both MW2 and MAG rather than one or the other. Looks like both will be great titles.
How is it that people would hurt when natal is released? The success of Natal will not make me feel anything let-alone hurt whether I agree or disagree with you so it begs the question, what do you mean by that?
