And it is a lead that will not soon be overtaken. They have won so many awards for that game that it is simply amazing. The recognition for this game goes beyond any other I have seen in years. If you do not have a PS3 yet, buy one and get this game with it. You will not be disappointed.
The interest in BD purchases and rentals will become greater. Anybody who has seen both BD movies and digital downloads or streams knows that BD movies outperform in every aspect. MS is still bitter about their horrible loss in the HD-DVD market that they will say anything negative about BD. If they honestly thought BD was bad and not worth the investment then they would have never supported HD-DVD since it too was a physical media and not digital distribution.
It's better to have shortages and high demand than a surplus of consoles with little demand. There are more positive points to a shortage than one might come to suspect. In the end, those that want a PS3 will buy one when they are available but it is a tough sell to get rid of a surplus of consoles to people who are not interested. Sorry, but I like Portal and believe that Portal 2 will be good but all he is doing is hyping their next release. Until it is released, I reserve judgement for myself.
Heck, I have a solid 14 days into the MP of MW@ already which equates to 336 hours of online game play, not including the time I spend in the lobby and they are saying that 35 hours is sufficient? Heck, I had more time in on some of the older Splinter Cell games. Hopefully the online component does not get boring that fast.

That the world does not stop at the North American borders. It always gets a chuckle out of me when I see the Xbox fans claim victory every time the NPD is released but they simply forget the other two reports that come out with the PS3 and Wii beating the 360 out every month. The differences always show the Wii first, PS3 second and the 360 dead last. World Wide numbers show that the 360 truly struggles to sell across boarders these days.
Can't wait to play some new maps. The current maps are nice but with the rumors that some classics will hit the game get's me all giddy inside. I wonder, is 10 bucks the map pack price?

I hope it is as addictive as FFXI but I also hope that if they add Trophies that they don't make one where you have to advance all classes to max. Let's keep the game fun and make it look especially good for an MMO.

The biggest complaint I have with the Wii-mote is the wired nunchuck. This is awesome to see Sony moving forward with tech that should be mandatory for all console gaming peripherals. Also, the games are looking awesome and hopefully, as we see with Sony first and second party devs, somebody will come out with a game or two that completely shows off all the aspects of this controller.

It will make it easier for developers to port Wii titles from or to the PS3. With similar formats and hardware, they can port simple titles like Boom Blox and Lord of the Rings. They can also port over the fitness games that sell like mad. In the end, they don't need to work as hard to move the ports over so it's a win, win for Sony and Ninty.

The 65 inch HDTV is not overkill if you plan to use the standard 1 inch of viewing size per every two inches of seating distance. If you are sitting 130 inches away from the set then 65 is perfect.

I want it to be a simple HD remake of the game. Not HD upgrade from the previous graphics but a complete overhaul off the game in terms of graphics alone. Keep the game play the same as that is a big part of my memory of the title. I just want to see the game in full HD with FFXIII graphics.

Would make Beyonetta a better game than GOWIII? Better graphics? Better story? More boobs? Mechanics? Come on, I am not a journalist and I even can tell you that Beyonetta, while fun, is not a better game than GOWIII. Basically speaking, even a monkey could tell you that GOWIII is the better game so I call into the suspect the intelligence level at EDGE.
