Watched the movie on Netflix, so pretty interested in this game :)
Yep, a really weird mashup lol
The PS4 is literally 4 years old. So it being a little out dated compared to modern PC's is like calling the sky blue.
The real thing he posed though, was saying if the machines were more powerful we'd see different stuff. That's clearly not the case (and I pointed it out ages ago in an a piece here http://crashlanded.co.uk/th... ) more power means prettier games but it has...
"Doesn't look much worse than Nier Automata"
How's that crack? You sharing?
They're just setting the stage to compete with Steam. Everything they are doing is about positioning themselves to be a competitor in the PC market.
The glue is strong with this one...
@DashArrivals Wow, that's quite the lineup! Thankfully I managed to get through most of Yakuza 0 already for review, so onto Gravity Rush 2 now whilst waiting for Nioh :D
First Nioh, then Horizon, then Nier then The Surge... it's like the gaming gods have mapped out my year for me... glorious...
It's not exactly a multiple ending thing depending on in-game actions. Merely a Marvel-esque after credits scene which you'l definitely want to see.
Reminds me very much of movement from my Unreal Tournament days.
It's a good game yeh. If you're worried about money, pick up this limited release, play through it and resell it afterwards, you'll probably double or triple your money.
The music industry is the biggest download-centric industry in the world with even less of a reason to have discs. Guess what? Go into a store and you'll find a ton of the latest music albums lining store shelves, because people buy them.
As long as people buy it, there will remain physical media, even if the companies don't like it (as they make much better markup on digital) if they ever stopped, it leaves the market open for a competitior to swoop in and take tha...
This one had me laughing, how do you manage to come up with an insult like that lol
Common sense would tell you releasing 3 major products within a month (from the same company mind you, normally it's something a competitor might do) is a disaster of a move.
There's only so much money a consumer has, only so much advertising budget, only so much retail space and only so much care a consumer has. Blasting them with 3 in a short space - two of which they'll already be far more familiar with - is just a bad idea, especially when you would want the...
I know Sony, and we all know their history with peripheral's - hint, it isn't a good one. They usually have a track record of starting great, then quickly fizzling out. But with PS VR the writing is already on the wall.
PS VR will be overshadowed, of that I have no doubt. New consoles are always more exciting than some supposed 'gimmicky add-on' of which the general consumer base knows very little. The general consumers know PS4, the console, they know its a...
Well that escalated quickly... you guys always bring the laughs, thats for sure. The opinion piece is mine, so I'm happy to defend it. Every second comment on here is screaming I'm a fanboy, when this piece was written by a Sony PlayStation MVP... the irony.
Not everything that's criticising Sony or vice versa is fanboyism, it's called objectivity.
So far;

Great little game, reviewed it on launch. If you're a fan of story driven, highly polished games with a small narrative choice system then Firewatch is your man.
Hopefully the ability to pick and choose the maps I want to play online, and not have to suffer through ranked matches on Neo Tokyo :/
How often do PQube do releases over there? If they do then there is definitely a chance. Though I think Amazon ship internationally now, so importing it shouldn't be an issue either.
I'll be blunt.
When the so-called journalists within the industry become the actual news.
You're doing it wrong.
