Agreed. And I think that is exactly it. Watching guys like Shahid and indie devs communicate back and forth over twitter really leads me to believe they have a well oiled machine there. That is scaled to suit the growing influx of indie devs and handle it with ease.
MS at this point are just behind the curve. They most likely dont have that infrastructure setup yet, and if they do it is definitely not as open and compliant as Sony's.
This game looks very interesting! Hope it gets localized.

Great start Nintendo! Keep getting those various niche 3rd party exclusives and eventually it will accumulate into a nice amount of system sales.
They need to do a lot more of this kind of thing.
Excellent game, and so cool that he is working on the third part of the story. VLR ends on such a cool cliffhanger that I cant wait to see what is next!

Cant see it being very big personally as RPG/Fantasy fans usually sided towards the more experimental console in PS3 and now PS4. With the Xbox being the 'dudebro' console.
I would hazard a guess at fly weight. Having to cut 5lbs wouldn't of been a prob for him.
I think a PS4 struggling to play old PS1/PS2 titles at a stable frame rate, through emulation should tell you everything you need to know about this.
If he ends up getting a job at one of the platforms or a dev. It basically discredits everything he has ever done.

Eventually the KS model will go bust of course. Goodwill only gets you so far before lawsuits start happening and then welcome to reality.
Sony have always had a hand in movies/tv. They are one of the biggest movie production companies in the world after all.
Only makes sense they merge their products better. Rather than having many separate companies working under the Sony umbrella doing their own thing.

All they need to do is remake the original UT and add a better story mode (hype up Xan etc). And people will flock to it.
