"Buying studios doesn't necessarily mean great exclusives come automatically, great exclusives take time to breed."
"So if your comment was a dig @ tross or playstation for saying exclusives don't count now then your comment is epic fail."
To your first statement - buying studios doesn't necessarily mean anything. It doesn't ensure anything, but it's an investment, and if the studio is p...
Seeing a new console UI for the first time is pretty cool.
I really like the PS4s UI. It's speedy, snappy, and going from one end of the tile bar to the other is like running your fingers across a row of piano keys. Super smooth. The whole UI is like that really.
It's elegant and minimal and I hope the PS5s is like that as well.
That's pretty sweet.
All excellent games. Don't forget SOMA and the oh so good What Remains of Edith Finch.
Agreed on the original, but the Custom PlayStation Edition on PSX was my favorite by far. The sinister metal soundtrack and other eerie tracks took it up a level.

The game looks really interesting going off the footage I saw. I think I'm going to like it.
I enjoy these slow-paced, narrative heavies.
Beat me to it.
Yeah I'm really enjoying it. It's everything I hoped for in an Ori sequel.
Moon did not disappoint.
Good luck finding a knockoff of equal quality to Moon's work.
Sounds like a very efficient console. Can't wait to click fight for my PS5 on Amazon.
@S2
"The only truly ‘next gen’ hardware is inside the PS5."
What a load.
@GT
So is yours - not sure how you can act 'above it.'
There's the three you mentioned, and there's also PlayStation's seniority and reach.
You're correct that the PS4 didn't start out with much in the way of games. There were two 'AAAs' - Knack and Killzone Shadowfall with smaller titles like Resogun and a remastered version of Flower getting attention.
Even Shu expressed surprise at how many people were "interested" in PS4 at the time.
I would argue t...
"Dead or School"
These days... is there really any difference?
Y-yo-you... you mean you could be playing Spider-Man and see Kratos shoot across the skyline while shouting "Huaaaaaaa!" and then be playing The Division and see him come through a portal in the sky and land in the middle of a shootout?
I could see that...
What doubt and confusion?
I can see if people are complaining that they wanted to see the console, controller, and some features, but Mark Cerny didn't create any doubt or confusion in his presentation.
Laymen won't understand because it's highly technical and complex, but there's been no "doubt and confusion" created.
Gamingbolt is creating that narrative.
"No more random elevators, slow shimmying through gaps, areas conveniently surrounded and seperated by cliffs, and also faster modes of navigation, more lanscape variety and biomes and so much more."
Exactly.
The SSD has the potential to totally change current game design for the better if developers utilize it in such a way.
This is truly exciting to mull over and I do think developers both first and third party are going to ...
Though I refuse to agree with the "Lame" reports because I believe this submission has a right to approval, I must say that this horse has already been beaten to death.
Yeah, I knew that. I guess I just think title creates a breeding ground for fanboy fist fights. You're right, it has yet to be determined, though I understand arguments based on history.
If someone thinks (even this far from launch) that Sony's just going to nab the gen, no contest, I understand why he or she believes that, but I think we should wait before drawing a conclusion because we just can't know as of yet.
Sony's always done well,...
Win what?
And no, generally speaking, it doesn't.
Next-gen MAG does sound great when you think about the potential.
Could be a lot of fun.
