They did give themselves a lot of room for future amendment.
Smart.
I liked that.
Very PlayStation, and once again, conveys eliteness and class.
@Spuds
Yeah, I actually loved Second Son, and First Light. Second Son was easier as far as trophies, and First Light had the score attack combat simulator that I really got enjoyment out of.
Platted both as well.
I agree.
I thought Fallout 4 was a good game, but I think Fallout 3 is the better Fallout game. Hit all the right notes. Inon Zur's soundtrack meshed perfectly with the world, further instilling that feeling of isolation and loneliness, and hope at times.
Superb soundtrack.
He wanted to stay succinct, but I think he could have done a better job with his point.
He's right in that it's a whole game, and if it's Naughty Dog's biggest work (far bigger than anything they've ever done) well that excites me.
I don't think that some spoilers could undo the experience that is a complete playthrough. He's right that it is a game (and not a movie and can't be spoiled as if it were a movie) The whole gam...
I don't think they've redefined this in a sense that Microsoft's unscrupulous marketing will have a cascading effect on the rest of the industry. I don't see permanence if you will. I see this as a strictly Microsoft thing, and don't see contagion where other entities see and adopt it, thinking that they too can get away with it. I think it's a cautionary tale.
I do think "blunder" was a fair word, even though I too enjoyed the themes shown...
'I' need to be more realistic? I 'am' being realistic though. I honestly (and I mean honestly) find that particular opinion shocking. I love both PlayStation and Xbox, believe me. There's no brand loyalty here, I promise.
But, your opinion is still yours. Take it easy, dude.
Third-party filler. Why write Cyberpunk 2077 off like that? Just curious. For me this is the game that will either solidify CDPR as an industry great, or put them in the 'We'll see' category when it comes to consideration.
With The Witcher 3, I was enthralled, so I've got high hopes for this, though they're nothing alike thematically.
I'm still all about TLOU, as I'm sure it's going to be a game I enjoy based on the gameplay. It looks like a treat. I just hope it doesn't lean too heavily in a certain political direction, as I think that would cheese things up.
Did you like Sucker Punch's past works?
These guys have true talent when it comes to making fun games, like Infamous 2. I thought Second Son was their worst game, and that's saying something, because I actually really enjoyed Second Son.
Hopefully the world of Ghost is a fun and exciting one. From what I can see in terms of world detail, it's rich and vibrant, showcasing Japan's nature impeccably, and hopefully the gameplay is just as ric...
Nobody likes the things you mentioned, Mr Firebrand and Savior of the industry. Just you. Keep "TRUTH" telling - we all need your truth echo across the industry.
"'I' speak up about it." (Shadow spoke up guys -nod nod clap clap-.) Nobody else has complained about deceptive or anti-consumer practices, just you, Shadow. The rest of us, well, we're just enablers of bad practice and don't care about the industry and we're damning develop...
Yeah, I'm honestly not sure how this is an opinion.
Gears 5 is a nice looking game, but does it really compare to God of War or Uncharted 4? Someone thought so yesterday.
I can see liking Gears 5, and I can see that it's technically impressive even, but standing up to graphical powerhouses like Uncharted 4, God of War, or Horizon Zero Dawn?
People need to be honest. There's no problem liking or praising Gears 5, but callin...
@RpgSama
Oh they absolutely deserved to be called out for that. Everyone involved. I'm not disputing that at all. "Gameplay" was an outright lie, and I think they got the message. Whether not it sticks, we'll see.
Still, we don't need so many articles about it.
You're worried about those disagrees, huh?
"I'm not upset. Does my comment sound upset? Now you, that's upset." As a matter of fact, yes it does, if you're reading it like I'm reading it, which I imagine is correct.
That turn-it-around-on-him play isn't going to work for you, Mr Firebrand of the industry. You're very aggressive with your posts, though - always have been, and there's a reason for it.
Explain to me why this a constructive article now.
And, Apoc, we're all too familiar with how you work. Victimhood; literally the theme of "ApcolypseShadow."
I called out a lame article, and you're upset about it. You're always a victim, Shadow, lamenting every little thing in the game industry as long as it isn't Sony. Nothing genuine about anything you spew.
Again, what message? The same senseless drivel that's been deleted by mods over the past few days because "ther...
How many articles does this merit? Certainly not this many, and you know it.
Now you're bringing in all these outside narratives, totally independent of this, and trying to paint a picture of mass corrosion in all aspects of the the industry, journalism, etc. You're a silly dramatist, spewing your fanboy nonsense under the guise of passion for the gaming world.
The only problem is that we've had too many of these articles on repeat, and that&...
The only thing that indicates "butthurt" is your usage of the term, and your comment in general. I'll let you wallow in your prepubescent, console war nonsense.
Normally, I wouldn't bother, but we've all seen enough.
The reason we have these options in dealing with submissions is so we don't get uncunstructive, repeated nonsense.
People are sure trying to milk this Xbox blunder theme. Someone even did a "scientific analysis" of what actual percentage was game play.
I reported it as lame because it is lame.
That was my angry reaction as well. All that horsepower and not even the option. Silly.
Hopefully this changes.
