Good question.
I wouldn't mind that acquisition either.
I think it's only a matter of time before Layers of Fear 2 hits Game Pass. I've enjoyed all their games, even the scorned Blair Witch.
I would kill for a sequel to Observer.
I agree and I thought the concepts looked sweet. What did we have at the launch of the previous gen? Forza 5, Ryse, Killzone, Knack, Flower for PS4, Resogun, Contrast, Sound Shapes, etc.
We didn't have much, and we didn't see nearly as much prior to the release of PS4 and Xbox One as what we've seen in this video alone. I get it, you want gameplay, but stay calm and be at ease.
Good things are coming.
I'm pretty happy with what I've seen, and I'm sure some are peeved about it. Though little gameplay was shown, I am absolutely interested in most of the concepts I saw in those trailers.
Not many brains to be found, and only two lanes to be found. Since the founding of N4G this has been the single rule. It's never going to change.
But, we can still enjoy ourselves. I personally love a good argument.
All you needed to bring on the snark was to utter what you did.
Amazing.
I've enjoyed Bloober Team's games. I absolutely dug Observer, and I'll have no trouble with that second dip. This is yet another game that has my eye.
Yeah, I didn't see much gameplay, but the concepts I saw looked great. Bright Memory Infinite looked pretty slick, and it mixed sword and gunplay with what looked to be other powers.
I have no idea what Scorn is other than the fact that it drew inspiration from Alien, and that it looked very, very interesting to me.
There were more with names I couldn't remember, and from what I could see, I thought the themes were interesting. My interest is piq...
That right there wasn't all that hot, but I'm confident that the game will be swell. After the last two games I'm convinced that these people know how to make a solid game.
Enjoyed and put many hours into both Origins and Odyssey.
I'm ready for a viking Assassin's Creed.
Where's the gameplay in this gameplay?
@mandingo
I'm not damage controlling - that is how I honestly feel.
Take it or leave it, it's all the same to me.
I think this game would do just fine without Ellie or Joel. They're just one or two stories in this world. The game could easily continue with a protagonist that knew Joel and Ellie, or someone totally unrelated, or it could just end, but it would have to be a powerful ending. It couldn't be cheap.
People are so endeared to these characters that a game absent Joel and Ellie seems absurd and preposterous to some, but what I like about this game and world is that it...
I think it's going to be great, truly. I don't care what happens as far as character deaths or anything story related. The world of The Last of Us is powerful and gripping and I don't think it has to rely on Joel or Ellie to be great.
The gameplay looks beautiful, and I think it's going to be a blast. I'm sure that Naughty Dog has knocked it out of the park once again.
This is a top tier studio - I don't care what anyone thinks. Do...
I don't really want to take your bamboo away, man.
I would never do that to a good little panda.
@Kellogg
The pass this garbage is getting isn't surprising in the slightest, but it's a let down, and it's giving Square Enix the green light to keep churning out mediocrity.
Even Jim Sterling, who has crucified other games for much lesser offenses, completely glossed over the numerous negatives here. I expected a bloodbath, but he bathed it with praise instead.
Play the original and stay far, far away from this mundanity. If you want to shimmy, duck, climb up and down ladders in boring, tedious areas, running and chugging along, this is the game for you.
If you want main characters to congratulate you on pulling levers and holding triangle, or crossing panels floating on water, this is the game for you. If you like being told you can do anything as a team, again (and again), this is for you. This game brings the cheese wiz and a...
I agree. Where's that variety and output? It's like Microsoft had a debilitating stroke this generation when it comes to games, and that's not even when stacked against Sony.
If you look at Microsoft's output on its own without considering Sony, it still looks very dim and lacking. Hopefully they've been working hard to rectify this, and it does 'sound' like they are.
Right now they're cultivating, or at least that's ...
I'm sorry but this is insanity.
"Much better"
This just isn't true.
The output level has been the biggest issue. Even if you're not tired of Microsoft's flagships, they've offered very little else this generation.
Let's just pray they take a cue from Sony and start competing in variety and output.
Didn't you yourself agree that this was going to happen a few days ago? Strange you'd act surprised and appalled when you knew what to expect.
