You're still conflating "trolling" with fair criticism. You, the coward who does hit-and-run "trolling" in my PMs, then plays the victim (stop bullying) baby when taken to task for it in public
Here you are, once again, painting everyone with a different view as a troll - that's trolling in and of itself.
I'm not singling out a fanbase, I'm singling out 'some specific' Sony fans here on N4G. I'm not talking ...
Why wouldn't Sony buy studios? Forget fanboys - we're talking about the industry, brother. This was an excellent acquisition for Sony, and Insomniac will thrive tenfold with them.
Because now on top of what was already a powerhouse of a studio, they have the full backing of Sony. They'll have more tools, more money, more everything to make better and better games from here on out.
This should be celebrated industry-wide.
Most likely Spider-Man 2 first, unless they have a plan to launch PS5 alongside an old, beloved franchise - I could see that happening.
Like you said though, probably SM2.
Well there you have it.
I'll never not buy PlayStation.
I understand why people feel the way they do - I 'get' the belief that being bought by Sony is more beneficial to both developer and gamer.
Sony's 'traditional' take on gaming is more palatable, and they're more likely to allow developers near total autonomy as opposed to Microsoft where developers often seem to disappear when they're... absorbed.
Microsoft 'seem' more likely to impose will and constraint upon their de...
Which is a great thing.
I love narrative-driven games - the indies have been great and plentiful this gen. Hopefully that continues alongside the big games. I really just want to see Sony continue this path they're on.
Traditional console gaming with an expansive and ever-growing diverse library.
Classic NIN went well with this trailer. Nice.
Days Gone mostly made me wonder how a game backed by the resources of Sony had so many (sometimes game breaking) bugs and glitches - in total contrast to Sony studios usual polished and complete works.
That said, I'm looking forward to Death Stranding reviews - I really want to love it because the premise is so nebulous and intriguing.
We'll see.
I'm really starting to warm up to this game now, while the new game play had an opposite effect for others. Looking forward to the reviews - can't wait to see what people think.
I do along with Ground Zero Texas. Sega CD had a lot of those; some more memorable than others.
Nostalgia.
I like Obsidian, but I 'do' think Insomniac are more proven.
Purchases like Double Fine don't really make me jump for joy.
If there's one thing Sony is known and rightfully praised for, it's giving their developers time and freedom. This philosophy is conducive to making sterling products.
Developers can focus, focus, focus without anyone breathing down their necks.
This sorta reminds me of Late Shift, which was surprisingly good I thought.
I'm completely on board with this odyssey now.
Will Star Wars ever be in the right hands?
Incredible acquisition for Sony - they're going to do great things with Insomniac. With Sony's nurturing and their already existing talent, they'll be an even bigger force to be reckoned with.
Give it some polish and maybe I'll give it a chance.
Lol. Alright, let's look at this.
Looking at his comment, and mine, who do you find to be the initial, unnecessary aggressor, and who was the first to speak of Days Gone?
No, it has nothing to do with Days Gone - true - but who invoked Days Gone while making a childish comment - hmm? I'll give you a hint - IT WAS THE DUDE I REPLIED TO.
His comment is fine (because he loves Days Gone unconditionally) while mine is wicked (becaus...
