Well, they did open cargo crates that were previously closed before, so now you can stare from one corner to another knocking down dominoes as they spawn.
The chaotic nature of "Shipment" is fun, but opening those crates changed everything for the very bad.
You're always going to have the odd bad spawn, but knocking down dominoes like this is just asinine. I haven't played in awhile and with all the other games I've yet to play, I don't think I'll be touching this anytime soon.
Dead Cells is excellent.
So addictive.
Right now my top two are Death Stranding and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
That's it.
This beats even Christopher's concise answer.
I don't recall anyone "hyping" it.
Yeah, there may have been a few 'sympathizers' but nobody (even the staunch Xbox dudes) hyped Crackdown 3. Going easy on a game and giving it a chance/consideration are quite different than hyping a game.
@Frosty
I'm not surprised.
Some strange birds here.
The game was so unremarkable that it didn't even make the shit list.
I can see that.
Also, no one expected anything of Crackdown 3. People predicted junk before it released and they weren't wrong.
Agreed about Anthem, Shenmue 3, and Youngblood. Oh, and I'd be remiss not to throw in the nuke (get it?) of all shitbombs, Fallout 76.
Shenmue 3 is either praised or scorned depending on where you go. Some lament the archaic aspects and feeling of the game along with the voice acting and storytelling, while proponents say that Shenmue 3 retained the charm of the originals, thereby praising it.
I thought Metro Exodus was great; oozed atmosphere with it...
@Dover
You're arguing in the vein of consistent, quality first-party exclusives, and I acknowledge that your argument is a sound argument and I don't disagree with it. Why should you buy what you don't want? I don't think you should.
I, however, was arguing mostly in the vein of business, and how some things that are practical and viable for Microsoft could be dangerous for Sony.
Microsoft just doesn't have to play ...
Lol.
That's just mean spirited, bro.
@Z501
I loved Death Stranding (got the plat) but when you look at what you're doing and tasked with in "The Sims" and then take a look at Death Stranding, it's clear to see which game is more conventional and gives the player more immediate gratification and satisfaction.
You can keep saying "But they only say that about Death Stranding" and you'd be right, but don't pretend that Death Stranding isn't a radical depa...
@Naruga
I agree - it's a very well made game. Very polished and solid in all areas.
All that open world area and I never once fell through the map or saw a floating rock or anything you typically see in open-world (or just open-area) games.
Yes, a very well made game on all levels from polish, to game play, to music and story.
Microsoft are a trillion dollar company - they're not "scared" of Sony. Hell, they're not even competing with Sony because their business interests don't require them to. Microsoft are concerned with their bottom line, but that doesn't mean they have to beat Sony or even compete with them. This is more of a problem for gamers than anything, because where Sony is constrained, Microsoft is free to run amok and risk-take. I think it would be better for gamers if they we...
Mine as well.
TLOU2 above all else.
For me, anyway.
A great pickup to be sure.
It's great when society screws up in your favor, isn't it?
Excellent picks, all.
I'd add Witcher 3 to that list.
