Agreed.
This one seems to take creation to the highest level yet.
I never buy creators but I think I'm going to buy this because some of the creations just look so damn nice.
So where's the part about the high failure rate?
I suppose you 'did' type a comment and deserve some credit though.
"Any lag you think you felt is probably just all that delusional Sony fanboyism clogging up your brain, which is causing neurological lag internally."
I died a little...
...then I came back.
Nice one.
It's not just being out of touch, it's that Eurogamer know what Dreams is about. They know what it's going for at its core, which is a creation tool.
Arguing that it doesn't have a campaign or what other games have is disingenuous. They know damn well what MM were going for in Dreams, and they're sticking their noses up at it anyway.
Also, Dreams is one of the finest tools of its type, easily rivaling the heck out of Mario Maker, Mari...
I may get some crap for this but I think they're just being British.
These headlines lately are so silly and downright dumb. "Why Microsoft shouldn't underestimate Sony." Well, no one should underestimate anyone.
I don't think Microsoft are competing with Sony just as I don't think Nintendo are competing with anyone - they're doing their own thing. Now, this doesn't mean that these companies aren't each other's competition because they are, but again, they all have their own way of doing things but I di...
The people who are in their late thirties who started CoD at CoD 2 - those are the ones who are over it. Mostly anyway.
It's the younger generations who are keeping the coals hot. They saw their parents playing it when they were young and now they're into it. Also, if a few of their classmates are into it - just a few - that's all it takes for interest to grow.
Then we have one of the biggest factors that keeps this thing going, and that's...
As long as a game controls well and feels good to play, I can do with both 30 or 60. It's about the game and its content, and while 60 is better, 30 certainly isn't a deal breaker.
Most of the best games I've played this gen I've played at 30. Still, it depends on the game. For God of War, I wanted that crispness of the checkerboard 4K over the smoothness of 60 at a lower resolution.
I think this is going to be my game of the generation. Everything looks so good. Every single thing.
That's a shame, I suppose.
Annnddddd... it's crap. I'm sorry, but it is.
I'm not someone who hates Call of Duty for the sake of it, but it's pretty lousy.
The false premise that "the future of video games is the cloud" renders the rest of an already poor, fallacious argument worthless. Cloud is 'a' future not 'the' future.
The point (with Xbox Series X) is that they're still very much in support of local hardware and gaming. That's what the Xbox Series X proves - has nothing to do with console wars.
Forbes...
Hard to get excited over this.
The game has great visuals and audio, but that's about it. The campaign was great but multiplayer is a mediocre cheese fest.
Spec Ops, which used to be awesome, just plain stinks now. Sony paid for exclusivity for a sub-mode (Spec-Ops survival) and people barely touch Spec Ops.
RE0, Windwaker, Prime were my fondest memories from the Cube.
God of War, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4 and HZD were excellent.
Glad to see Edith Finch on here (even though it's multiplat) as I find it criminally underrated. It's brilliant and it's profoundly sad, and I think everyone should play it. My favorite indie of the gen.
Everyone's so aggressive.
Bubba did have a fine idea.
That's how he flexes.
Yep - same.
Nintendo on occasion.
That's awesome, and CDPR are completely deserving of the success they've achieved. The Witcher 3 is probably my favorite game of the entire gen, still.
TW3 and GOW are tied and I really can't decide.
