@AnubisG Lot of bonkers people here, which is why I typically avoid discussions that have the potential to go off the rails and devolve into tribal nonsense.
I like talking about games and hardware and avoid anything to do with sales.
Son'y quietness has been described by some as masterful chess playing, and I just don't see it - I see a quiet Sony which is fine... though I still would like a little red meat at this point.
You did the grand tour when all I said was that I'd like to see a controller and console reveal or some news - that it'd be nice.
No need for console war or fanboy nonsense.
Agreed.
They don't need to lay out all their cards, but show us the console and controller or something.
It's certainly not a disaster but we could use some news.
My wallet is ready.
I'll be doing the same.
Great news.
C'mawn Arthurrr!
F off!
How many times are we going to get this article? It's beyond ridiculous at this point. The developers have said they're working on an overhaul. Until then, I say we should leave it at that.
I've never had this problem myself.
I always enjoyed talking to the employees about games, the console wars, etc. Some of them were very informed and it was a pleasure to talk to them.
I really enjoyed Ryse and its story, and I also enjoyed a bunch of Killzone MP at the beginning. The Order 1886 had an intriguing story and was beautifully presented, but the game itself was just good, and not great.
I also enjoyed the hell out of Sunset Overdrive.
I'm fine with people disliking whatever they want.
You're the one with the hangup.
I'm assuming they're just not very adept with the application, because everyone else is praising the robust nature of Dreams, and how creators are able to go sky high with their creations.
Everyone else seems to love it.
I can't believe certain people are actually trying to fault Sony for putting safety above all else, or spin things to make it seem like Sony has no cards to play.
This is a deadly coronavirus and safety takes precedence. Period. Nobody cares about your ridiculous brand humping, but they do care about lives.
This is a new low on N4G.
Mimir.
Yeah, I'd usually listen to his stories in the boat before docking so I could hear a different one each time.
Another article featuring an optimistic "dev."
He says that you can do more with more power and this extra power will afford us great things.
Thanks, Dev.
Then the kid turns into a brat at one point and you're thinking "He's gotta set this boy straight."
Game development can be a cryptic thing for us gamers; we know how things work to a degree and what's going on to a degree. Still, we're not there, and we're not really a part of development except for when we tell developers what we want and what we don't.
Watching the God of War | Raising Kratos | "Making Of" Documentary was so-eye opening. These people really put their lives into their work (much like we all do) but when you're not a develop...
I have a feeling it won't last long. Good thing Ninja Theory are working on two more products that look much more interesting.
@Spurg
People like the bizarre, darker, lovecraftian world of Bloodborne - it's interesting and it oozes atmosphere. I really enjoyed it as well, and more than any of the DS games.
Bloodborne is just a special game.
This is how great things happen.
When all the teams under an umbrella are open and friendly things can only get better.
