Yeah, I'm going to do that as well.
This game cries for better hardware.
"Fyi this is not a troll comment. Im team Sony"
Lol, oh brother.
You're allowed to criticize a PlayStation game, and guess what, you aren't wrong. It's a very good production on many levels, but when it comes to core gameplay, there's not a whole lot of flavor.
It's like a beautifully presented dish that isn't properly seasoned.
I don't hate it but I don't think it's incredible or amazing either. It's just good.
The setting and atmosphere are very well executed, and the visuals are no doubt impressive. The weaponry is fun and satisfying, especially that Triple Crown Coach Gun. You've got legs, do you? Not anymore.
The problem is that it's mostly basic, generic feeling third-person cover shooting. More flash than fun ultimately. Still, I wouldn't mind a...
Alien Isolation was fantastic.
One of this gen's surprises.
Faaaaaaaaaaaantastic.
They are and they aren't.
I can tell you this much; this generation Xbox hasn't competed with PlayStation at all. Were Xbox to compete with PlayStation, they'd need to at least endeavor to create single player experiences akin to the sort that PlayStation provides. Obviously they haven't done that.
To say that there's no competition at all between these companies is disingenuous, however. Microsoft are indeed Sony's competition and...
The only good thing about this mess is the campaign.
"The companies are not interested in your console war. They want to sustain their business and maximise profits, and they'll do whatever it takes."

@Size and Flesh (lol)
I'm talking about who has the broadest network, e.g. data centers, availability, etc, but I could be wrong. Either way Azure is AWS's main and closest competition.
Looks nice.
Also, for context's sake, Google's stream-only service, Stadia, is their 'only' service, while Microsoft offers traditional gaming on local hardware (Xbox) in addition to other services.
You're either not aware (unlikely) or are purposefully omitting these key facts which is highly likely.
He may understand, but I don't think he's being honest when he blames "wokeness" for the game's failure. He's pandering to a certain crowd in hopes of getting himself support and attention. Quite shameful honestly.
No more excuses, Cliff. Just make a good game, or don't, but do stop the shameless bottom-of-the-barrel scraping and pandering.
The game failed to win people over, but I don't think ''wokeness" had much to do with it. Wokeness certainly doesn't help things, but it's another nonsense excuse from Cliff for why his game failed.
I think what this man is trying to do is appeal to the Trump loving masses and get attention for himself. Cliff may have raised some eyebrows here, but people don't want pandering - they want good games.
I know plenty of dyed-in-th...
You know, I'm not at all surprised about how Stadia has turned out, but I am a little surprised at their lackadaisical and seemingly unenthusiastic behavior regarding it.
I'm really surprised that they don't seem to have any studios working on unique games for Stadia.
Microsoft's Azure Cloud (which Xcloud uses) has the largest global footprint of all the cloud services. It's a proven and reliable network - one that Sony will take advantage of with PS5.
Xcloud and Stadia are streaming services but that's where most of the similarities end. People are reporting a smoothness with Xcloud that they're not with Stadia. There's also the difference in library and the Microsoft exclusive factor.
Nobody has t...
You like latency, limited options, and a small library? I think people would be more forgiving if Google got the ball rolling on securing some exclusive titles and expanding that paltry library of games.
Stadia just isn't a savory option at this juncture given PlayStation, Switch and Xbox.
It's floating debris.
@nucky64
Your reply could have done without the "not really" because what's "not really" for you is 'really' for me. Opinions dude.
RDR2 had some great storytelling but I had to restart the game TWICE due to corruption such as buggery that removed the train from my game world, then more buggery that removed much of my Horseshoe Overlook camp and its essential characters.
I too enjoyed DL, but by the end o...
This exactly.
Witcher 3 is my multiplat game of gen but God of War is most certainly my PS4 game of gen hands down full stop.
@LaMosche
PlayStation owners like the 'pewpew' just as much. Pewpew sells better than anything else on PlaySation.
So far, I haven't played a game by this developer that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
I don't worship them, but I do respect them, and will continue to do so until they give me a reason not to.
