I don't know what I'm more excited about - Ori or Doom.
Why did these idiots get into gaming in the first place?
"Ori's latest adventure borrows heavily from Hollow Knight and Zelda and is all the better for it."
You can find this little nugget directly under the title...
Currently playing Yakuza 0 on Game Pass and enjoying it. Next up - Ori and the Will of the Wisps and DOOM Eternal. Great little month.
That's interesting.
I'm liking what I've seen of the offensive playing. The game seems to be a nice mixture of combat and evasion, not relying too heavily on either.
That's certainly a fair ask and I'm not sure why it was disagreed with. I'd like to see this as well. They have the studios and the talent.
@Godmars
Microsoft has effectively merged the Xbox brand with the PC space. Specs are the only difference. Halo Infinite is a Microsoft game made by a Microsoft first party studio.
Whether you're on PC or Xbox...
The original was pretty big, I thought.
More good news.
I close anything I'm not currently using on any device. Just a habit I've built over the years to ensure battery longevity.
Thing is, this habit also translates to game consoles. To maximize performance and minimize latency or lag, I'll close everything but the game I'm playing.
If for some reason I run explorer on my Xbox, I'll make sure I actually close it before I play a game. So, I won't use this feature if it hinders performan...
Hmm.
I have no idea what this is (haven't even looked at the article) but "machine learning" sounds to me like a way for software to better and more readily adapt to the hardware it's running on, taking a small percentage of the load off of the developer.
Agreed.
I think SNES is my favorite Nintendo console actually.
Making strides.
This is really, really cool. Congratulations to the user whether he takes the job or not. Well done. Really gotta give credit to MM for making these things possible with such a fantastic creation tool.
Agreed.
Though I'm certainly no fan of rap, I think it does work in certain instances and a DOOM game is definitely not one of them.
DOOM has always been metal and it always should be.
I've personally never played a metroidvania with the art direction, visuals, tense sequences, and soundtrack that match Ori's. Its candle shines bright regardless of other games. Imo, I think it shines brighter than others.
There are a lot of great metroidvanias though.
"Our most stable console ever created"
We know it's important - we're just having fun with the word.
Nothing on Earth is as stable as a PlayStation 4.
The Ginso Tree sequence alone was 2015 GOTY contender.
After seeing Shannon's passion for SSM or SMS I'm a little shocked. Not surprised though. I'm sure she's getting better pay now.
