You're right that the Xbox One X destroys Google's halfhearted Stadia effort by virtue of the fact that Xbox One X is local and reliable hardware and reasonably powerful at that.
Apocalypse is also correct that Google's server farms could run rings around any next-gen console, performance-wise, and I'm very surprised that Google didn't put more raw power behind what they did. So, what do we have in Stadia? Streaming with 10 tflop capability at the mercy ...

I personally don't think he did anything wrong with the game - thought it was fantastic. His wrongdoing is his inability to appreciate what he has and not knowing when to shut up. The man has been blessed...
America may indeed, but so does the rest of the world. Fifa, Madden, CoD, and many other annuals enjoy the most sales on Xbox and PlayStation.
PlayStation is sold in more regions and enjoys seniority. Seniority is a bigger deal than many think, as some people pick a brand and stick with it, and that brand is often the first brand to arrive to market.
That said, I can't and won't (thanks Seinfeld) pretend that the exclusive games don't matter b...

I suppose that's fair, but HBO has been quality more than they haven't been quality. They're not perfect and have made mistakes, but I guess I'm choosing optimism for this one.

When I look at HBO's past greats like Rome, True Detective (Season 1), The Sopranos, The Leftovers, Game of Thrones, etc, it's hard not to be excited that this will be in their hands.

First of all... lol.
Secondly, I actually LOVED Death Stranding. I loved the loop - it got its hooks in me right away and never let go. I also loved the story. I loved everything but something they fixed after I got the plat, which was the odradek warning thing in BT areas. There's now an option to turn it off.
I loved everything else, but I still respect dissenting opinion of the game so long as its well argued and not based...

GameSpot were the scum of the Earth (specifically Kallie Plagge) when they gave Days Gone a '5' (mediocre) yet they were gods when they gave Death Stranding a '9' (superb).

Why can't some of the people who enjoyed this game just accept that some of the people who 'didn't' like it aren't just rabid shooter fans?
Why do all or most detractors of Death Stranding HAVE TO BE intolerant shooter fans? I know plenty of people that disliked DS - plenty of people who don't like shooters AT ALL.
