And I'm thinking of riding through a hurricane while juggling chainsaws on the back of a bazooka toting tiger with machine gun claws powered by the tears of children--I mean I could do it but I've got pachinko machines and cheap, outsourced tie ins to make.
Thankfully they're giving the choice of the Japanese audio. The modern english dub of this show is one of the worst I've ever heard. When the fan-made abridged series based of the show gives a better cast, better acted performance, you have a serious issue.
They forgot also Kratos: petulant child and shallow git of no redeemable value. Seriously, this game doesn't show a "part" of Kratos's personality-- it's a complete, 100% retcon.
I'd ask what's the point of "hype moments" in a game if the player isn't involved in the slightest? The whole thing could have just been a 15 minute short film you unlock once you've completed the game with enough fighters.
I remember taking on Heihachi with Gouki. After 10-20 retries which suck any amount of epic out of any story, it ended with Heihachi charging up. I was supposed to use rage art but there was nothing communicated that's wh...
This piece of bland, dry toast might look similar on your expensive boxes, but as you see--the butter is slightly more shiny on the top pic. So if you're going to consume bland, dry, nasty toast do it on the most expensive option.
Mnnnnn. That's delicious mediocrity. Seriously, since before 2008 I have no idea why people still argue or find this interesting. It's like arguing your sports team is better because they have a uniform with a higher thread count-...
Those games have sex in them--they do not explore the concepts of human intimacy, courtship, relationships etc. So far the only thing games can do is the "dating sim" answer a few questions right and get a sex scene. It's hardly Casablanca or Eyes Wide Shut.
I'm not talking about the 15 year old "I want sex in games" cause yeah it's been implemented as sloppily and immaturely as say..well...sex in games. I'm talking about a mature, ad...
Human copulation is straight out of nature too and yet chances are won't be exploring those themes in games anytime soon. Ubisoft can't even get animals right when they aren't humping at each other--which is why I have to ask: Ubisoft, why is this in your game? Chances are it will add nothing save to give drunk frat boys and streamers something to giggle at for a half hour.
I'm hoping the decision to drop the mini-map will include dropping tedious collect-a-thons. This is a chance for them to get creative with what is discover able on the map.
Interesting from a design perspective. They're trying to make things more organic for the player, should be interesting to see how it affects a person's overall experience. I know I constantly rely on minimaps to a fault, but being asked to remember where I've been and where I'm going will be a nice change of pace. I just hope this doesn't lead to having to constantly open up the larger map to find out where I'm going.
The "Bioware A team" you're referring to doesn't exist anymore. I have no doubt they company has two teams but the founders of Bioware have left the company, the guy who created Mass Effect has left, many of their lead writers have left. So much of that original talent from that first trilogy has moved on. The writing is on the wind. Mass Effect: Andromida got bit of a free pass thanks to the legacy of the original trilogy but this new title doesn't have such a life l...
I'm always curious how they or anyone can call it "backwards compatibility". For one it's software doing the emulation so the hardware isn't compatible with the old software. Also if I have two games for an older system and one works but the other one doesn't, how can that be "backwards compatible". To me BC means being able to put any old game disc I have into the machine and it works. They should really call it "Xbox Legacy Pass" or something....
Because it would take effort--something Capcom is not willing to give.
Hm. This is..actually pretty cool. Giving people the option to express themselves however they choose is the overall point of an avatar. Giving more choice to everyone is a very good thing~
Uhm. It looks off because the updated lighting, shaders, and textures are being slapped on the same models used in Marvel Vs Capcom 3. The same thing happened on the updated version of Assassins' Creed 2--making many of the background character models terrible looking.
If you're going to yell at anybody yell at Capcom for lazily recycling models and sloppily updating them from a game released in 2011.
"No. 4: A crafting system" Sigh~
Seriously? Does every sodding game these days need a crafting system? So instead of exploring the map for consumables to use on allies and enemies, giving immediate reward for exploration, we instead explore the map to pick up every single shinny object to craft them into the same, hyper-balanced consumables--reducing the fun of exploration to a required chore.
When will people learn crafting in rpg's is...
Capcom is known pretty hard for recycling assets in their products--this game is no exception. It relies pretty heavily on the models already made for Marvel Vs Capcom 3 only with slightly better textures. I could easily see a project lead going to the model team and saying "We don't have the time or the money to do everything. The Marvel roster is priority, so focus on them."
It just seems to make more sense it was Capcom who pushed the Marvel roster as pri...
I'm not sure it was announced too soon so much as SquareEnix not being able to manage or budget a project to save their lives.
If you're referring to Nomura, yes he knew the game was coming since he was the one pushing for it. He, however, was expecting Kitase to direct it considering Kitase directed the original--that was the surprise.

And if Microsoft or Nintendo took the lead from Sony their policy would switch again. From a business stand point it doesn't benefit Sony to open their doors to the other competitors with the lead they have. Opening their network would benefit Microsoft and Nintendo far more.
Sony want people to buy a Playstation. The don't want potential customers saying to themselves, "I can just get it on the Switch because I can still play with my friends no matter w...
This really says it better than I can: https://www.youtube.com/wat...
The character from God of War 3 is not the same one in God of War 4. Kratos from God of War 3 solves his issues with senseless violence and only violence in a story better reserved for a direct to DVD Disney film. And his "Sacrifice" comes off as a quick plot convienient way to make Kratos not the bad guy. Heck they eve...
