But why are you thinking of buying the slim in the first place if you own the old/current ps4 and use the old/current dualshock 4? Also that would cost sony more money, not much, but the whole point of the slim is to save money, and EVERY cent counts, especially if they ship 20 million of the consoles in the next two years. Just shell out a couple bucks for an extended usb cable, doubt you sit/lay more than 10-12 ft from the console/tv.
Want an actual better controller? Wel...
Not only that but since when did controllers get upgraded for a slim? My mind is a bit foggy but I don't remember the last time controllers were upgraded in anyway, be it battery life or different colored triggers. I think it's another case of people being entitled and wanting better for free. People complaining about battery life are not who the slim is targeting at all. Though, I do wish sony made a "elite" controller, maybe a $100, better triggers, sticks, and battery lif...
A next gen console that plays the exact games as its predecessor, and has majority of its exclusives going to pc, with its main "wow" factor being able to play games in 4k, a medium which isn't common place at all currently, or even next year, the year it comes out, near the very end. Same can be said for Neo, but that's coming out sooner and most likely cheaper because it's not so power heavy, and plays the games of the leading console which has 2:1 sales to xbox one so...
obviously, the whole point to slims is to replace the original since they are cheaper to make.
I said a "little" bit, since they are now being on even grounds with micro, instead of being at an ADVANTAGE of being $10 cheaper. Now people decided whether to chose xbox or playstation will see the prices the same, instead of going "oh wow, ps+ is actually $10 cheaper! hmmm, that might effect my decision".
I doubt this will have any serious effect, but paying 20% more for nothing other than, "Well the competition charges the amount we're rais...
And that's how you make xbox look a little more attractive without xbox/microsoft actually doing anything.
smh, zero reason for an increase without an actual excuse, this is just "we want more money just because, pony up!".
I mean... from the footage, I'd say it looks pretty awesome, especially the levels. The animations could use a bit more tweaking, more flowy in places but tightening in others, like the jump. Imma guess the actual game would look a bit better considering it's not for skylanders, thus they can get more freedom of the power/engine/style.
Is anyone from naughty dog confirmed to helping out with this remaster or is it all activision/vicarious?
yah...if it specifically said "go" was "dying" sure, if you consider "dying" as just slowing down, sure. Didn't bother clicking article either with a title like that if they don't even know the definition of "dying".
Space games are going to be so hype in VR, can't wait!
Supply and demand, pretty sure they've ran out of units available for pre-orders. I think they realized there's not much point marketing further right now, best let the ones who bought it (and general media outlets) do the lion share of the marketing for them, until they get more units available to really push the pedal to the metal again. The Wii was choked on pre-orders for pretty much its entire 1st year and then some, no matter how much you market it, you're not selling anymor...
All that was left was HUSSKKK of corn scattered on the ground!
Scared? No. The Scorpio selling feature is simply more power, for 4k, and has cautious tells of only benefiting 4k tv users. More power comes with a higher price tag as well, and, well, can't say how well another "$599 US dollars" would do at a time like this. That said, it's a smart move by Microsoft as it needed it, however, I predict it will not change their outcome of Sony owning majority of peoples attention. I hate to mention that most xbox games being on PC statement ...
yah, "more content" for NX just reads "content we held back from the Wii U at the last minute since it was dead in the water"
This is what happens when your game doesn't get the backing of a major company or your previous game does shit both in reception and sales. (or in this case, both) This should really open the eyes for many of how hard it is to make a "AAA" game in this industry, or sustain making them. Maybe this is a cash cow to recoup same money/losses, but a disappointment nonetheless.
So microsoft gets all the good vibes and threads with this "upgraded" xbox, actual discussions on good possibilities, but Sony gets shat on constantly for its neo? literally every thread I see doom and gloom about??
Ok n4g.
If the developers don't want to to keep their vision or serve a crowd they specifically targeted, they don't have to. The industry seriously suffers from catering to whiners or casuals.
Should From include Microtransactions to help players get a boost of souls so they can get weapons or upgrade them easily JUST BECAUSE other games have such features? Should they make the next game free to play just because they want to reach every potential fan as possible? Should the...
Exactly, its difficulty/learning curve is part of its charm, take that away and your left with a lesser game. There's plenty of other easier rpg's out there for people to play if they can't handle holding a shield and dodging.
Besides, the games do extremely well perception and sales wise. Why should they change things just so people who are bad at video games get what they want when the game is meant to reward players who can overcome the original difficulty? I...
You forgot another "consoles are doomed!" rant/questionnaire/comment onslaught :)
Before when the nx fake controller was leaked people claimed nintendo was done for, now all of a sudden a more powerful Ps4 is rumored as a half step between next gen and people are grasping for the nx as consoles last saving grace. Internet is funny, sure sign of E3 hunger for information/reveals.
PS Now, subscription service, streams certain older games from last gen, just released on PC. It makes sense to do this, if you can make money of putting games from older hardware on other platform(s), why not? People aren't looking to buy PS3's, and Ps4 has no backwards compatibility, so PS Now gives them more money, without interfering with PS4 sales (in a major way anyways).
The lower sales have to do with these past few months being the slowest, and new console...
